Full Decklist

Regis_Mark_V - 2. Sep, 19:20

Premium Pack 9

I'd nearly forgotten about those old Machiners. They seem restricted to the same 3-4 monster, like the Monks, so I can't imagine what support is in store.

Forrenz - 2. Sep, 21:20

Shudder

If they got support, could it be possible there may be a faster way to get their 4000-ATK Boss to the field? O.o
Let's not forget Saiga and his partner played the Machiners, so maybe Saiga's gonna be in the WRGP?
Speaking of, we haven't seen him, Himuro, or old man Yanagi all season, especially just before the Signers and Dark Signers duked it out....

InPassing - 3. Sep, 17:24

Eh, I don't care about them, I want more Kiryu action. >_>

Anyway, they're gonna have to do something pretty drastic if they want the 4000-ATK Boss summoned faster, considering the specificity and number of monsters needed on the field. (Like the Sabers' cheap, CHEAP trap card that summons 2 of them from graveyard which I believe they SO did not need)
RedEyesFan - 7. Sep, 12:46

seriously,

i had to delete my comments to get rid of pollutants.

kyuubinoyouko - 9. Sep, 20:02

Hmmmm...

Ok, I have to admit, this is actually looking pretty badass now, even without any of the cards actually being known.

TriforceMaster3000 - 9. Sep, 21:36

Oh shit...

Unions now? Wow. I still remember when those first came out back in the day, everyone I knew said they sucked but I made the old deck...good times...

Anyways, now I see the pattern. They're doing a bunch of sub-types now. First Duals and now Unions. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a Spirit and/or Toon deck(s).

Dragon King - 9. Sep, 23:24

Remember XYZ-Dragon?

My First Union deck, was XYZ. I worked so hard to get all three monsters.
I worked even harder to make a combo with them. It was fun making it. I feel it die to soon. It was sad i came up with a killer deck, just to have it burn out.
if this deck looks good,i may bring it back out again!! LOL
Regis_Mark_V - 10. Sep, 00:23

If this set is anything like the last one, then it won't actually do anything for Machine(rs) and do everything for Union Monster. I wouldn't be surprised if they make a Synchro that requires non-Tuner Union Monsters in Absolute Powerforce, which would be weird because that's how the XYZ Fusions summon themselves.

I look forward to Tier 2 XYZs

ShiroRyu - 12. Sep, 00:28

Probably not Tier 2 XYZs, they'd have to do a LOT for that at this point in my opinion. After all, X-Head Cannon is a pretty weak card nowadays (not to mention V-Tiger Jet)...

If they could pull it off though, it would be pretty awesome :D
I'm going to call for a Heavy Mech archetype. We have Heavy Mech Support Platform who is probably the most useful Machine-Type Union monster (Armory Arm isn't a Union for some reason...) so building off him would be rather ideal I think.
RedEyesFan - 10. Sep, 00:57

moi predict that.....

judging from how slow the unions are,
theres gonna be hard to get cards reprinted in here!

InPassing - 13. Sep, 11:17

..Oh, wait. It's UNION? I thought XYZ already got the rather annoying support card called Cyber Eltanin.
Anyway, kinda hard to imagine what else can be done for the Unions. They already special summon from hand, they revive-equip, etc. Mmm... maybe a draw boost or a search (Technically, FB and Get Ride does the same thing) card?

Forrenz - 7. Oct, 01:07

Only LV7?

[Machiners Fortress] sounds a bit bigger than just Level 7, doesn't it? It must have a sweet effect, but something that keeps it from being easy to pull of with stuff like [Monster Gate], [Reasoning], [Tribute Doll], etc...

InPassing - 15. Oct, 20:05

"or Graveyard". No longer do I have to cry myself to sleep when my Destiny Draw turns out to be a Gear Golem.
Now my question is: What exactly does this card have to do with Machiners?

TriforceMaster3000 - 15. Oct, 20:18

So wait...

Is this all about machiners, or all about unions? I'm confuzzled...

cyberzane19 - 17. Oct, 01:40

the only support I see with this is being able to discard machiner's force to summon fortress. It looks like the things that make fortress(like machiners force is made because it looked like a combination of monsters which I find strange seeing as it doesnt mention anything) are going to be in absolute powerforce well it would make sense if they were in the pack maybe there's a fusion between force and fortress in this or a synchro between them.

jurmala - 23. Oct, 18:42

ka lai es registrejos
D-Slayer - 17. Oct, 15:01

omg - the warriors strike structure had a common dark bribe - now this one has a common dimensional prison (Dimensional imprisonment)

masterofdarkness - 17. Nov, 17:34

and a common cyber dragon

and a common cyber dragon

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

Black masked emporor - 17. Nov, 22:48

noooo no common cyber dragon pls no i spent 300 quid (english pounds about 600 us dollars) on the originally and now they have a common i was gutted when gold came out i hate konami sometimes...... i wonder if next set we get a common dark palladin no wait forget i said that :P lol
ShiroRyu - 19. Nov, 23:16

You got ripped off, Masked Emporor. £300 is way over the top for any card outside of the tournament prize cards (and in my opinion, still way over the top), let alone for Cyber Dragon at any point in time (except maybe before it came out, if you can time travel XD).
Forrenz - 19. Nov, 05:25

A great deck so far

This is very awesomely built - they're really going at it, in terms of making these SDs truly staight-from-the-box playable.
What I find great is the true Machine-type support. You could easily combo those new cards with the "Antique Gear" monsters (especially from their own SD) and lay out some fast hurt easily.
The original "Machiners", in terms of pulling off their heavy hitter "Force", were poorly done (only because it was just one really quick duel they were shown in), so it's a bit nicer to see them at least remotely playable, if you dedicate yourself enough.

InPassing - 26. Nov, 01:28

Well, the problem now is trying to find a point in actually summoning Force, since Solidarity makes them stronger separated.

Oh, and Machiners Frontline only triggers from Battle (Probably because of Union monsters), so Antique Gears might have problem using it, since they're not exactly low on pow...okay, most of them are. Never mind.
bly272 - 14. Dec, 18:01

yesss!

woohoo! another machine structure deck! machines are probably the best cards in the game in my oppinion and I can't stop upgrading my machine deck.

GodTonberry - 20. Dec, 11:35

This is simply fabulous

Yes Abridged Series reference intended. And mayhaps not "fabulous" but good enough that I'd pick it up.
