Joenen - 31. Mar, 09:08

first

wonder what's in here?

RedEyesFan - 31. Mar, 09:44

Savior Star Dragon?

a card that is more broken than Stardust Dragon /Buster?
a card that can negates everything, including summons?
a card that is first to have "when this card is on the field, u win the game"?

well, letz just wait for this overdrive.

Precis - 31. Mar, 11:15

Savior Star... whut? D:

I choose to completely discredit this until April Fool's Day has safely passed. >_>

Bleh_ - 31. Mar, 13:27

woow

i thought savior dragon would be belonging to godwin
o__O
oh wells
and wat more caryl cards? :L
wadda bout jacks cards?!
DD:

The-Strawhat - 31. Mar, 14:14

star dragn

is that star dragon the last dragon ?
Joenen - 31. Mar, 16:04

One signer has two dragons? Don't think so, this is a new incarnation of stardust. Interesting.
Wysten - 31. Mar, 16:41

I believe the new dragon belongs to the fifth signer, rather then Yusei, unless it undergoes a tranformation by fusioning with Bomber, or some crazyness.

As it says, the information is unconfirmed, and also, it's very strange that they would actually name a entire booster pack after a single monster.

Manjyome Thunder - 31. Mar, 17:01

[...] and also, it's very strange that they would actually name a entire booster pack after a single monster.

Yep, as much as "Strike of Neos" or even "Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon", they would never do such a thing, absolutely not ^^
InPassing - 31. Mar, 19:35

...Mya? Savior Star Dragon? What happened to the Stardust/Buster?
I wonder if all of the dragons are going to get a version-up like this. (Maybe Power Tool's actually going to be a DRAGON instead of Machine now >_>)

Oh, and this better not mean they're not making Black Rose Dragon/Buster.

TriforceMaster3000 - 31. Mar, 22:42

Lawl

As someone else said, I'm not even paying attention to this until April 2nd.

Forrenz - 1. Apr, 00:10

o.0

Wha??
Crazy...

Oh, yeah... April 1st there now...

TriforceMaster3000 - 1. Apr, 01:22

Hmm...

Although if this is true, and he's not in Ancient Prophecy, I hope Ccarayhua is in this. lol me and my friends made a deal that each of us are gonna get an earthbound god, and I wanted Ccarayhua. Looked the coolest to me and I like the effect. Although this is most likely an AF prank...

Forrenz - 2. Apr, 22:43

I guess not

If it was a joke, it'd be gone now, wouldn't it?
That's cool that you and your friends would do that - become Dark Signers, then make such vids for your YouTube page :)
dragonavis39 - 9. Apr, 02:36

dragons

more dragon support yes yes yes .

Dragon King - 16. Apr, 02:05

Savior Star Dragon...I've seen it.

I've seen Savior Star Dragon,it's a Synchro monster.Yusei uses him after Star Dust losed to Earthbound God"Ccapac Apu. I could not see it's Attk or it's Effect. But it does look like Star Dust, but Bigger. It looks stronger and it has big wings. And it's a lv10,so it may have a attk of 4000 or more. You can see him in Yu-gi-oh! 5D's ep 55.

Dragon King - 18. Apr, 18:43

Hmmmmm.........

Now that i get a better look at it. It looks a little like Blue Eyes Shining Dragon!!!...lol
Can't wait to see how he's powers work and how you summon it.

Forrenz - 22. Apr, 13:39

Sweet!

Only a few more hours 'til we find out!
TriforceMaster3000 - 22. Apr, 20:30

Oh God...

Now we have a tuner that only works with 'Savior' monsters. Whaaat? I hope they're not making these a total archetype from synchros. Last time we did that, we got busters/assaults, which besides Stardust/buster (which is still situational), they were kinda crap. Oh well. At least these 'Saviors' are still synchros. I hope they'll use all tuners, and not just these savior ones like Salvation Dragon, but probably not. We'll see. Doesn't that episode air in like a day or so?

And what's next? Savior Red Dragon? Savior Rose Dragon? lol might be interesting...

Golladan - 23. Apr, 06:03

The episode already aired.
ryoto_kai - 24. Apr, 11:24

Savior Star Dragon

Savior Star Dragon
Lv 10 WIND/Dragon/Synchro
ATK 3800 DEF 3000
Salvation Dragon-Savior Dragon + Stardust Dragon + 1 non-tuner monster
When your opponent activates the effect of a Spell, Trap or Effect Monster, you can Tribute this card to negate it, and destroy all cards your opponent controls. Once per turn, negate the effects of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls until the End Phase. Also, that monster effect(s) can be treated as this card's effect and can be activated once. Return this card to the Extra Deck during the End Phase, and Special Summon 1 "Stardust Dragon" from your Graveyard.

freaking hard to summon tuner lv1, stardust lv8 and non tuner lv1
.... + it goes back to deck end turn, this card should have stardust last effect to revive back during end phrase

InPassing - 25. Apr, 05:02

>>It only sticks around for one turn,
Then win on that one turn. And that's not entirely true, since you do get the Stardust back.

>>and its first effect is pointless because your opponent will know not to activate jackcrap.
Uh, that's the point. Your opponent is stuck between "activate that card and lose all his/her card on the field" or "not activate that card and take 3800". If he makes the first choice, revive it next turn and he's back to the same choice. (Let's see... how does RED Metal sound?) If he makes the second choice, he's still left with Stardust to deal with.

>>What cards in the meta are non-tuner level 1's that are splashable?
Cyber Vary would like a word with you.
Well, putting that aside, let's try that lv1 dragon that you can SS from graveyard if Stardust's around that Yusei used in the anime. If that won't work, I can always take out my Demon Roar God deck and use Rulee. If nothing else, I'll even use Reijigra in an X-Saber deck. I'm not trying to say it's easy, I'm trying to say there's always a way if you look hard enough.

>>Not just that, but the fact that it needs a level 8 synchro AND a specific tuner on top of the level 1 non is just too much to ask.
Oh sure, because Stardust is SO VERY hard to bring out. And specific tuner? If it can be recruited/searched/revived, it can't be that bad.

>>Stardust/buster is still better than this thing
That I can agree on, since /buster's still easier to summon.
Wysten - 25. Apr, 19:01

I would much rather use Buster Mode then this, as that is flexable, and easy to set up with the right deck. Kinka-byo is a suitable monster for this synchro summoning, though condictional, it is a Dark monster that can be allured and requires you to only have a Stardust.

To be honest, I would rather use Buster mode, much more reliable and flexable as a deck device then summoning all that for a moster that will last the best part of one turn anyways.
InPassing - 27. Apr, 13:38

First of all, I don't remember writing or implying in any way that /Buster is worse than Savior. (In fact, I did agree /Buster's better) I just don't like a card with potential being knocked. (Anyway, the effect might change when it changes, and this whole conversation may be moot)

Second, nice catch about the cat. (I forgot about him)

And finally, (not to Wysten) please don't delete the post I replied to, it makes me look like an idiot, which I probably am. >_>
ryoto_kai - 16. May, 13:23

Savior

Lol they didn'change the effect of Savior Star Dragon....
my guesing for Savior Daemon Dragon would be
Savior Daemon Dragon
DARK/Dragon - Synchro/10/4000/3300
[Savior Dragon] + [Red Daemon Dragon] + 1 non-tuner monster
When this card attacks, Destroy all cards on opponent's field at the end of the damage step. Also, once per turn you may switch the battle position of a monster on your opponent's field. Negate the effect of a monster that battle this card. During end phase return this card back to the extra deck and special summon 1 Red Daemon Dragon from your graveyard.

Since all Stardust forms is based on negating effect.
Red Daemon normal and buster based on destruction during battle this could be appropiate effect.

InPassing - 18. May, 17:34

I'm probably the only one who's gonna go "OMG FORTUNE LADY BROKEN".
Darky - Yeah, she's like the whole reason Fortune Lady's going broken. It's "if she kills a monster in battle, draw 2 cards (Watery), destroy another monster and deal damage (Fiery), or summon itself and bring back TWO Fortune Ladies the next time (Darky)" Oh, low Atk? Tell that to the almighty Unity and her 2800 glory. Level 5? Lighty and Dimension Magic takes care of that.
Watery - Konami definitely didn't learn anything from Disc Guy about giving monsters draw power. (Though her special summoning condition IS a little tougher... Then again, we have Dimension Magic, Darky, Lighty, Exemplar...)
Windy - Oh look, Stratos without the search power...THAT ACTUALLY COUNTS ITSELF. So she's more like Mobius without the release and Atk halved.

The-Strawhat - 18. May, 19:38

Black wing

that Black wing monster.. isn't Blackwing - Lone silver Wind ??? or what ? Siver Wind is coming out in this pack
ArcaniteMagician541 - 19. May, 02:53

Savior Cards

I think the whole Savior concept is pretty cool or at least better then the stupid Assualt mode/ Buster mode concept. I mean have they completly given up on assualt mode i'd at least like to see a little more support for assualt mode like spell and trap cards and even some cool assault modes like Black Rose Dragon, Powertool Dragon. Well the savior cards seem very powerful but also seem very hard to use. I can't wait to see the other Savior dragon such as Savior Archfiend Dragon or Savior Rose Dragon but most of all i want to see the fifth signer dragon actually be played and used! I'm also hoping that dark synchro and dark tuner monsters will evetually come out although i know they are very difficult to use and the chances are very unlikly especially due to the negative levels with cards like gravity bind that could become a problem. Well who knows what other cards will be in this pack but hopefully more Spellcaster support and another Spellcaster synchro!

ryoto_kai - 21. May, 09:23

Savior Demon Dragon!!

Savior Demon Dragon
DARK/Dragon - Synchro/10/4000/3500
"Savior Dragon" + "Red Demon Dragon" + 1 non-tuner monster
This card cannot be destroyed by the effect of opponent's card effect. Negate all effect damage that would be dealt to you, and do the same amount of damage to opponent. Once per turn, you can negate the effect(s) of 1 face-up monster your opponent control until the end of the turn. Also, increase this card ATK equal to the ATK of the negated effect monster. At the end of the turn return this card face-up on your field back to your extra deck and special summon "Red Demon Dragon" from your grave.

That's the effect in the anime ^^

Joenen - 29. May, 00:20

WOW, NOW THAT's a good earthbound god. I think it is probably the second best after sla piscu. Those two are probably the most worth using. Acctually nevermind, this is the best hands down. Can anyone say Black feather support? Wait! Since all the new anime characters are being kicked off (Carly, Kiryuu, etc) What if Crow is next!? YAY! End to black wings but sad that crow MIGHT die (Earthbound bird and blackwings, very ominous pair wit swallows nest, depending on the field spell, broken)

ryoto_kai - 30. May, 03:09

The new Earthbound is a waste of time

you have to return 3 of your cards back to your deck just for it ATK to catch up with the other earth bounds not only that returning is a cost so combo with sepertine princess won't work... Even worst, if opponent have GB Hunter on the field.. it'll just be a 100 ATK point monster... So the 1st best is still Asla Piscu the 2nd Chacu Chalhua and the 3rd is Ccapacu Apu

Diehard_Guy - 30. May, 18:35

WRONG

Yes you are right about the Wiracosha Rasca is not that good thing, but you are wrong about Aslla piscu being the best EBG.

Chacu Challhua is the best, for his burn damage and no Battle Phase effects.

BTW, "Wiracosha Rasca" is SOVR-JP026
neos85 - 3. Jun, 12:58

EBG - wirachocha rasca !

Hum, i was more hoping for EBG uru but it doesnt matter.
This is supposed to be the strongest EBG?!!! OMG it is crap if this is the real effect, thank god it hasn't been confirmed yet.

Forrenz - 4. Jun, 01:41

Holy freakin' crow!!

Wiraqocha Rasca is Godwin's EBG!! HE's The King of the Underworld??!
Now who saw THAT coming??
And we still don't know who this Giovanni dude is yet either!

The-Strawhat - 4. Jun, 14:09

Giovanni ?
Fossil Fusion - 4. Jun, 14:50

Yay Fortune Ladies!

Reptiless Gorgon is strange.

I wonder if we get those Sad Story Continous Spells Misty recently used. They seem proper powerful Prolly watered down maybe...

Wysten - 16. Jun, 14:26

Aye, we should get them unedited, as they also can disbenfit the user and can't work on draws or adding effects outside the draw phase, nor does anything to the hand, so it only really has that much of an effect if you could ensure they can't be tampered with due to whatever is pressent.
neos85 - 14. Jun, 15:08

EBG - uru

I think this set will have Uru, i mean it should be obvious because it says cards from "ludger" or "rudger" ^^
Well at least i hope for it

Kotori - 17. Jun, 10:45

Too good supports...

Can see all the Earthbound Gods r released..Also, nw Ritual monsters make a comeback to this set...
Quite a number of supporting cards for Ludger, Misty and Carly cards..Very worth it to have this set..

Maybe Fortune Ladies will rule the metagame nxt to Black Feathers? o.o Because I think of the (Lvl+ATK) increases at your Standby Phases and the decent effects they have.

RedEyesFan - 17. Jun, 11:43

yeah,

all hail the ritual monsters that hardly appeared in boosters...

An Onyx Mouse - 17. Jun, 19:50

Amen to that. Ritual Monsters were what initially hooked me to this game, and I have to say, the new support they got, along with the Goddess of Salvation, just made this my new favorite set. :]
TriforceMaster3000 - 17. Jun, 20:49

Holy shit...

All this fortune lady support, I can't wait to make that deck. Spider cards? lol what the hell? Spider Spider has the most original name ever xD. Reptilless cards look interesting, maybe a cool fun deck. And wow, ritual support, was not expecting that, especially with all the focus on synchros, swarming, and special summons we've had lately.

I suspect Fortune Ladies might be one of those underrated types that can actually do very good in the meta. It can easily keep up with the speed of decks like BW and has great effects to back it up, and some pretty good support, not to mention all the spellcaster support. I can't wait to make the deck.

hariken - 18. Jun, 06:40

Savior Star Dragon O.o

for that synchro i only need "one for one" card for salvation dragon ,stardust dragon and my skull servant card :D

Kotori - 18. Jun, 07:02

Earthbound God Wiraqocha Rasca

Anime Effect:
DARK/Bird - Effect/10/1/1
While this card is on the field, Earthbound God cannot be Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned. If there are no Field Spell cards on the field, this card is destroyed at the End Phase and the following effects are negated. This card can attack your opponent directly. This card may not be an attack target. This card is unaffected by any Spells and Traps. Once per turn, by skipping the battle phase, one of your opponents life points become 1.

No wonder Konami decided to change this card's effect, the anime effect is broken.

Forrenz - 19. Jun, 02:22

XD

I can't wait for this set. Plenty of cards that give you the sacrifices you need for the Earthbound Gods. There's even that spell card Ritual players have been dying for (how many times do you need that Ritual Spell back from your grave? And this one even grabs a Ritual Monster from your deck! Relinquished and Lycanthope are gonna get a bost in my deck :3)
The only ones I don't care for are the Savior monsters.

ClearMetalVoltar - 19. Jun, 15:45

WOW XD

the cards so far looks awesome so far! im definaly gonna make a spider deck!

its also good to see more gemini nd reptile support

hopefully the spiders and the rituals get even more support

Fossil Fusion - 23. Jun, 23:03

Altar of Mist

Altar of Mist from Big Five arc is in this...? Looks similar there

The-Strawhat - 24. Jun, 12:53

Blackwing

The Blackwing monsters name is Blackwing( or BF ) - Lone Silver Wind

Diehard_Guy - 30. Jun, 12:17

New Info

SOVR-JP013 Infernity Necromancer
SOVR-JP014 Infernity Salamander

Beautiful Deity of Salvation - Norsewemko
LIGHT/Spellcaster-Type - Ritual/7 Stars/2900 ATK/1200 DEF
This card is Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card "Ritual of Salvation". When this card is Ritual Summoned, a number of cards you control other than this card equal to the number of Monsters used for the Ritual Summon can be selected. While this card is face-up on the field, the selected cards cannot be destroyed.

Koa'Ki Meiru Seal
Continuous Spell
When a "Koa'kI Meiru" monster attacks, your opponent cannot activate a Spell or Trap card until the end of the Damage Step. Once per turn, you can switch the Battle Position of a "Koa'ki Meiru" monster or a LIGHT or DARK monster. If you do not discard a "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" or a "Koa'ki Meiru" monster during your End Phase, destroy this card.

InPassing - 14. Jul, 14:26

Mmm... 3~4 days left 'til release, you guys tend to have at least the card names in by now..
Nobody got the cards in advance yet, or maybe you guys are busy translating?

Manjyome Thunder - 14. Jul, 15:15

the set's out in Singapore, but there are only LQ vids of bunch of cards on youtube. Guess we'll have to wait for better/readable images or texts.

But I think I spotted another Gradius-related card (imo Lord British, yay) and maybe even a supporting Trap (artwork of the trap seems to have ship on it.).
And there was something that appeared like a chibi Fortune Lady? (oO ).
InPassing - 14. Jul, 16:18

Ooh, quick reply. I like that.

Yeah, I saw the youtube video. It's pretty much unviewable. >_> The only card I could recognize (from the illust) was Quick Synchron.
Well, at least it's coming up now. I eagerly await your update and the rest of the cards.

P.S. Love the illust for the Fortune Loli....*cough* Fortune Lady (assumed).
P.S.2 ...Oh God, please no. Please don't let Grand Wave be printed like the anime version.
P.S.3 Level Stealer would be level 5 or higher, not 6.
Manjyome Thunder - 14. Jul, 18:42

yups, it's 5. That happens if you don't hit the right key xD

Btw, Witch of Catobelpas and Fate is quite an interesting card, as it really requires a monster with ? ATK. It's a nice addition if there are cards like this, though this one in special is mostly thanks to Fortune Ladys.
InPassing - 14. Jul, 18:46

Catobelpas is amusing and powerful just for the reason of Fortune Future, which makes it a pretty amazing sinergy.

Oh, and Level Stealer heralds the return of Monarchs. They now have a reason to put Safe Return in. It's officially the end of the world.

P.S. Tribute to the Devil is probably the most brutal card in this set, just because I run a Normal deck.
mitchbleach - 14. Jul, 20:22

eel of greed

eel of greed might be some good for water decks. Too bad it couldn't be like AOD, =[

RedEyesFan - 15. Jul, 16:29

i think

tribute to the devil and steel core harvest r possible normal rare.

i only got one of each from my box.
lol

Forrenz - 16. Jul, 09:55

Really awesome set!

The thing I like most, even more than the WATER support, Reptilesses, Spiders, and Fortune Ladies, is how many new cards give you at least 2 Tokens you can use to easily bring out an Earthbound God! I think the count is now up to about 9 or so, in terms of Spells or Traps that can special summon at least two tokens, and I'm not gonna count 'Synthetic Seraphim'.

I kinda like the Dual/"Gemini" support, and nice to see they even get a Synchro Monster. Maybe they'll make Toon Synchro next? ;)
(I like the idea of a Toon version of Stardust or Red Daemon's, or just any Toons).

TriforceMaster3000 - 17. Jul, 01:24

Or...

A toon...tuner? xD

I've also been thinking about toon synchros and tuners, mostly because of how funny it would be to declare your move in a duel.

"I'm gonna tune my toon..." XD

Toon Dark Strike omg no.

I am kinda sad that we get no new morph or psychic cards, which has been kind of a tradition since CSOC and TDGS respectively. But considering the support they got in RGBT and ANPR, I guess I can't complain much :P
Forrenz - 24. Jul, 23:01

Certainly

Yeah, Psychics have almost all they could want. Well, except a LV6 Synchro - I'm pretty amazed how often that comes up! Sure, Goyou Guardian is probably the best choice, but it'd be nice to have the option, y'know?

The biggest reason I want to see more Toons is because, while fooling around with a Toon deck after a few matches with my regular decks, it scared the crap out of people. Being able to attack directly with 3 or more ATK/1900+ monsters in one turn is almost always enough to win.
Chewydog - 27. Jul, 20:56

ultimate power

BEWD support for my deck. toons just kill the pro decks. if anyone didnt know about them and i would highly recomend to everyone looking to kill the high in demand decks toons r the wave of the future of TCG and OCG
