Gold Rares have Gold borders (each and every border foiled), Gold Foiling on the stars, and are basically an Ultra Rare.

The "Gold Rare" technology was introduced with the TCG "Gold Series".

well,

theres might be new players and collectors that has missed the chance to get this cards early,

also, since its the 10th year anniversary for YGO,
reprinting oringinal cards is a good way to celebrate, with a new rarity.

ya,

it looks better than that golden box that Yugi has... or where the pieces of the puzzle is stored.

and atleat 10 times cooler than the other tins.
