Yay, I'm very happy right now for the release of this Extra Pack, yeah............ at long last, finally, eventually, I can have my Guardian of Order, Allure of Darkness, Security Orb, Metabo Globster, Lightlord cards and etc. I thought that I'll never get those decent cards in OCG. Thank you, KONAMI, after all, you did something right this time.

what are you saying?!!! the game beggins there, they apport the game the ideas, the constant assistance in tournaments and thats before us, listen im not given them the best but Konami Japan has always woory for the game not be boring and UDE cares about money...look at the prices of secret rares, c´on playing OCG gives you a higher view try it...by the way did you know how much spend UDE for that cards were exclusive for America? jajaja...and now they will be common ´cause OCG cares about duelist.

OCG its better than TCG easy to get cards , and the cards are made of better material than tcg , artwork uncensored 8)

When I first started playing Yugioh, I only played OCG because where I lived, you could purch them as easy as TCG since they both were available there, and at the time there was no such thing as TCG exclusive cards and they were a few packs ahead of TCG. I still for the most part only collect OCG cards, but on occassion I get ahold of TCG cards when I get the chance.

Now they've made TCG exclusive cards, and not just that but they've been making A LOT of them. I didn't really care, it was only fair. There are still WAY more OCG exclusive cards, every LE card, all 50 of the Duel Terminal and Dandelion for some reason. O_o I figured Dandelion would SURELY be TCG by now but oh well.

Anyway now they're making 10 OCG cards in every pack as well as 10 TCG, and now they added this pack, adding all the TCG exclusive cards into OCG versions. In my oppinion this is a good thing.

Now TCG is getting a lot of exclusive cards and getting OCG into it's own cycle at the same time while OCG is doing the same. Meaning they'll both have exclusives but eventually the cards will be added to each pack, keeping their own uniquness which they want apperently. *Shrug*

Anyway, since I moved to this TCG exlcuive enviornment. It made me see the difference between the games. Not just exclusive cards but actual game play and the attitudes the players have regarding the game.

And it made me realize that I wish the game had a lot less differences and were more the same game. Why, well that would mean I could play my OCG cards I buy in tournaments besides the local 1s. Don't get me wrong, I hate Upper Deck A LOT, cuz they suck in OH SO MANY WAYS, but they're the 1s who control the big tournaments around here so there's not a lot I can say or do.

Anyway my point is it's kind of sad seeing you people complain weither 1 game is better then the other when it's those differences that you're arguing about which is of the bigger down falls this game has over other major card games. I personally can't wait till I can play my TCG / OCG mix decks in regionals and not just Worlds. (If in fact I even could use it in Worlds, it'd be kind of SILLY if I couldn't, and not Silly in the good way obviously.)

But regardless, if I ever participated in Worlds, I may live in TCG land but man, there's no way I would play on the their side. ^_^ It'd be kinda funny if I got really high in Worlds and on the rankings it showed on the Japanese list my name and where I lived on the listings. ^_^

Stop acting stupid and whining about which game is better, the only reason you're picking whichever side is cause of silly reasons anyway. And not silly in the good way obviously.

Most tcg player know that most of these card where a nightmare to get in trade or pack. Now the OCG get all our card in one pack I really this to be unfair when it comes to world because Tcg player have to come up with hundreds or thousands of dallors to make there deck and OCG player would have to come with max 50 usd. On the other hand this could be looked at another view being fair way should Tcg player have to spend over thousand dallor to make a deck its just cardboard when goes down to it.

This is getting to me now...
They make it even easier for OCG players to get impossible-to-get cards, while all of those are Super Rares and higher for us...
There better be over a hundred cards in this set or I'm gonna flip!

It was only a matter of time...

It finally happened, the Japanese got fed up with all of the TCG exclusives and made Japanese counterparts.

I'm personally glad. When GLAS came out, perhaps i was among the many to make the first Gladiator Beast deck. It was a mess, but it was fun to use...and then came the US counterpart. Octavious, Test Tiger, Torax...all of these exclusives take out the fun of actually using the deck...where's the challenge of forfilling conditions of tag summoning, if test tiger fast forwards it for you? Where's the thrill of survivability if Defensive tactics shields you? Dueling with a Jap deck is like watching a movie...TCG exclusives are the fast forward button, it doesn't matter how you get there, just get there...IMO, that's the mentality of the US duelists.

Perhaps my reason is wrong...maybe both branches of Konami made the OCG exclusives so that they may be played in the worlds. (In the worlds, neither exclusives are allowed...for those who don't know...)

Where I'm from, we use both exclusives. That's why we get foreigners coming over to play with us...to see the best of both worlds.

I wish that the world would be like that someday.

That GB deck of mine? It doesn't have any exclusives at all...and yet i can still win...and i tell you now...the wins are oh so sweet.

Yes. It is unfair that TCG has to pay so much more money for their cards. I totally agree but the fact that it's upper deck posting these prieces and not Konami is not the fault of Konami. In fact, all the TCG exclusive cards that english duelists are getting are made by Konami, not upper deck. I dunno the whole story but the fact is Konami must have made these cards so that TCG could have them before Japan to give the english game more of a uniqueness to their game then the japanese version. Which I personally hate since the more unique the 2 games are to eachother the less likely I'll be able to play my OCG cards in TCG tournaments.

Anyway but Upper Deck might have a hand in this as well. I dunno the whole story as I said. I just know Konami was the creator of Zaborg and Grand Master and Volcanic Rocket, and Ehren.

But yes I agree. I have always hated Upper Deck, and even more as of recent since they change the rareity of cards in packs and started making cards secret rare exclusive just so they can make more money off them. They're literally being greedy at the expensive of their own consumers. I would never pay close to $1000 dollars to get just 3 cards for my Synchro Dark Armed Dragon deck. I doubt I would pay $1000 for the whole deck. How can they honestly ask that of people AND still censor the cards as if their target audience is 7? Are they TRYING to insult their consumers?

I got a Judgment Dragon at TCG pre-release and I didn't really need it since I had 2 Ultras and a Ultamite already so I used it in some anti duels to get 2 to 3 of each of the normal rare cards I didn't get in Light of Destruction when I bought the japanese cards like Ribbon or Rebirth and whatever that magic card is that returns a removed from play light to your hand. Then I traded it for a Ehren Lightlord Monk.

*Sigh* Anyway, I do feel sorry for people who insist on devoting themselves to TCG exclusive, not really like they have a choice. I have a lot of english cards, I have much more japanese cards and I play in sanctioned tournaments here in town and I even went to regionals in Japan but I could never play a tournament in the states just cuz I'm not willing to spend that much money. ~.~ Anyway I recommend to TCG players to buy this pack anyway even though it is in Japanese. I don't care about the language of my cards, and since language only matters in the really really big tournaments, there's no real reason not to get this.

Unfortunatly, this pack is only going to expand to Light of Destruction. Duel Terminal TCG cards wont be out for another year when when they make another pack like this. Which is unfortunate if you're unable to obtain the expensive TCG cards. Hopefuly we'll be able to get some of the TCG tuners, but i doubt they'll be any that will obtain deck space over X-Saber Airbellum right away.

I say right away cuz we all know Dark Armed Dragon decks wont be the metagame in a year and I'm sure some tuners will over-shadow Airbellum and Junk Synchron.

i read that someone write why TCG cards are more expensive, even here we all love OCG our point continues that it is unfair for America...yes....UD has the fault...nop, TCG gamers can make the rules changes, and America can ask to Konami to take control of their game...our game, for the best like OCG has doing this since so long, member that Ud puts the price and allways the final choice is fof the costumer, this is only marketing....

So, are 'Metabo Globster' and 'Aztekipede' going to have their names in English then (like 'the Splendid Venus' and 'Big Saturn')?
For those who noticed the "odd" name changes, notably 'Gate Watcher of Hell Ill Blood' and 'Jewel of Protection', you have to remember that UDE isn't the one responsible for these cards; it's Konami that creates them, and they decide which are released in the TCG first. If you've seen the ones for TDGS, you'd be pretty disappointed with 'Cyber Shark'.

did you chek it? of course yes! that name of TCG's il blood is perfect for our game OCG rules no matter what, allure is coming to,jajajaja, cant wait to buy a couple of boxes, well now we know...every 3 expansions we are going to have an extra pack to include the "exclusives" cards of the TCG (EXTRA PACK is what we call exclusive!!!)

i am so sorry. i played jap vers. of YGO cards since 7 years ago.. but i cant get wat u guys means by OCG or TCG.. please forgive my idiotness and would anyone mind to tell me anything about it ?

i using japp vers. deck...rebuilding deck now..
