Rule Updates (based on Rulebook 3.0)

Deck:

The Deck is the pile of cards you use in a Duel. Respecting the following rules, you can can built a Deck with your favorite cards :
- The Deck must have at least 40 and at most 60 cards.
- You can only have up to 3 copies of the same card name in your Deck, Extra Deck and Side Deck.

Also, for official duels at tournaments it is common, that some cards are Forbidden or Limited
Try to keep your deck as close as possible to the minimum of 40 cards. In doing so, you increase the chance to draw your desired card when you need it, which will be benificial for your strategy.

Extra Deck:

With the Extra Deck it is possible Summon in a special way. The deck is composed of "Fusion Monster" and "Synchro Monster". (This is also meant, if something refers to Fusion Deck???)
For construction of your Extra Deck, the following rules apply:
- You can only have up to 15 cards in your Extra Deck. (These cards in your Extra Deck are NOT counted in the 40 card minimum limit of your Main Deck.)
- You can only put "Fusion Monster" and "Synchro Monster" in it.

Side Deck:

The Side Deck are spare cards to adjust your Deck. Though can't be used during a Duel, during a Match, between the single Duels, depending on your strategy you can exchange cards with the Deck or Extra Deck. The Side Deck can only contain up to 15 cards, and before and after exchanging cards the number must be the same.

Synchro Summon (Procedure):

1. During your Main Phase, when the total level of a Tuner and 1 or more monster(s) you control is equal to the level of a Synchro monster you want to summon, declare the Synchro Summon. Redundant monster(s) are irrelevant.

2. In order to match the level of the Synchro monster you summon, send 1 Tuner and other monster(s) with an equal total level to the Graveyard. Basically, you necessarily must have 1 Tuner.

3. After sending the monster from your field to the Graveyard, you can place the Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck in face-up Attack or Defense Position on your field.

Additional Rules:

- Synchro Summon is one kind of Special Summon
- You can Synchro Summon while "Macro Cosmos" is in play. In this case, the Monster Cards used as material are removed from play. Also, Monster Token can be used.
- Only face-up monsters you control can be used as materials for a Synchro Summon.

Synchro Monster:

Synchro Monster cards are monsters, that are placed in your Extra Deck (not in your Main Deck) and that can be Special Summoned if you control a Tuner and 1 or more monster with an equal total level. Because you can summon when the total level of monster(s) you control matches, it is possible to summon a strong monster without warning.

Tuner Monster:

Monster with [Tuner] written next to the Type are necessary for a Synchro Summon. A Synchro Monster, that can be summoned, is decided by the total level of a Tuner and other monster(s) you control.
//based on Rulebook 3.0 . Don't copy anywhere.

Release + Advance Summon will be added later (actually, they are only changes name-wise. You still do the same stuff as usual)
