Verfalk - 8. Dec, 23:46

I think...

That the 3 extra cards will be fusions... 40 cards and 3 fusions...

Aster1 - 5. Mar, 22:13

eh..

Not fusion, now is the name of the cards "Synchro" :)

I´m interessted for the cards,^^
supreme_slayer - 10. Dec, 18:24

The new Monster Catagory is probably like Toon

Not a whole new type, just an effect type more than likely. I will be very interested in seeing this. For once there are NEW cards in a starter deck!

Ace Avenger - 31. Jan, 21:01

Kinda Agree...

It might be like how Gemini-monsters were introduced in the Tactical Evolution set. Will be interesting to find out more about this. I really am praying we really do get Copycat in this Starter Deck.
RedEyesFan - 11. Dec, 06:21

- In this deck a new rule element as well as a new monster category make their appearance

is this rule element like fusion monster and ritual monster?
r we gonna have a new colour card?
like white?

Johnist - 11. Dec, 07:25

The Hamster - 16. Dec, 20:41

i you are right

i would be happy if they were the fossils, but will it come out in us...probably not :,(
damn u!!! starter deck 07 became jaden/judei's deck with syrus'/sho's deck. i liked the idea but i wish that if they make a jim deck it would be wierd and random unless he does more in season 4?!??!?!!? that would be cool. they should also make a zane deck!!!!!!! but make it like a structure deck not starter!!!!!! starters have like 10 out of 40 cards used by the person!!!! that angers me. well we will see soon enough.

Johan Andersen - 7. Jan, 04:27

Dream?

Dream sounds more of a monster group or class (w/e) like crystals, and cloudians

Forrenz - 24. Jan, 19:10

OH MAN!

I totally spaced on this, as I'm sure everyone has!
Remember in the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, before the Battle City Finals, the went into that...place...I could never keep track of anything in that whole series of events...
Anyways, what if the new category is "Duel Master" or something (probably called "Duel Spirits", but you know, right?)! That would definitely be a new ruling, way to play AND new Monster Category!
:)

cybergx - 30. Jan, 14:43

Explain

I dont get how these new "Synchro" Monsters work. Someone please explain... And the Fusion Deck is now the "Extra Deck"? with a 15 card limit? That is really stupid, unless it is another deck. And Tribute Summons are now "Advanced Summons" Wow, this is getting really stupid...

Forrenz - 30. Jan, 17:38

Here's how I see it...

Okay, so we get these new Monsters called 'Synchro' monsters; they get their own little deck, LIKE Fusions, except 'Synchro' Decks have a Max. 15 cards, and like Fusions, a) they have no Min. # of cards, and b) They require certain cards to bring out from their Decks.

'Synchro' Monsters require a certain monster, called a 'Tutor' (like 'Toons' and 'Spirits'), to be on the field, as well as other monsters whose combined Levels equal to the 'Synchro' Monster. The Gladial Beast Fusions are most similar in this sense. For example, "Junk Warrior" is a LV5 monster, and it requires its Tutor, "Junk Synchron" to be on the field. "Junk Warrior" also lists that you need another LV2 monster to be on the Field too, listed like Fusion-Material Monsters are on Fusion Monsters. So, as I see it, as long as "Junk Synchron" and 1 LV2 monster are on the Field, you can Special Summon "Junk Warrior".

Note that it doesn't say that the listed monsters are sent to the Grave or anything, and that it can apparently only be brought out if ALL monsters on the Field are EQUAL to the 'Synchro' monster's, so in "Junk Warrior"'s case, ONLY "Junk Synchron" and A Level-2 monster can be on the Field (though it seems to also mean, for example, you could have 2 LV1 monsters too, but then that Fusion-Material Monster list thing says THAT SPECIFICALLY, so, yeah...).

I think that's about it... Hope it helps!
venom dragon neos - 22. Feb, 23:02

Tutor?

its called a tuner not a tutor.
MaxMaster - 30. Jan, 17:04

???

Does Fusion Deck -> Extra Deck means that I can only use 15 of Fusion + Synchro Monsters, or a deck like Fusion deck (lies beside Main Deck)and has nothing to do with the Fusion Deck?

Forrenz - 30. Jan, 17:46

Well...

My guess is that the new mat will be extended to the right 1 space; a spot to the right of the Grave for the Removed Zone, and to the right of the Main Deck for the Extra Deck.

Also, a cool note, is that it seems you don't HAVE to have 15 cards only in your Side Deck anymore, so it won't be a brain drain to try Siding for what your opponent will have, just throw a few together, at most 15, and you're set!

Oh, and don't expect "Copycat" to be in the English one, because it was a special thing with Shonen Jump, and only the most dedicated readers would get them (Copycat, Cloning, Blast Sphere, and um... I can't find #4)...
supreme_slayer - 30. Jan, 18:58

So, let me see if I have this right...

Synchron monsters are in the Extra Deck, which can consits of onlt 15 cards.. And then you can tribute the monsters written on the card to Advanced Summon the Synchron monster from the Extra Deck IF an only if the tributed monsters are equal in level to the Synchron?

Don't quite understand the Costs -> Release kind of thing, though...

Forrenz - 30. Jan, 20:39

Close...

The Synchro monsters are in a deck OF UP TO 15 cards, and it seems you don't actually Tribute anything, it seems that... Well, the 'Tutor' monster is a catalyst to bring out a monster if all monsters on the Field meet the Synchro Monster's requirements. It might be easier to explain when the other 2 Synchro Monsters are revealed; they may provide more examples...

If my explanation of "Junk Warrior" doesn't help, I'll just make up a real situation with these three new cards...

So you have just one Synchro Monster, "Junk Warrior". He's your only Synchro monster, so he sits all by himself in your Extra Deck. His requirements for being Advanced Summoned (pretty much summon from nowhere) are listed as " 'Junk Synchron' + Non-Tutor Monster", where "Junk Synchron" is the 'Tutor' - the only monster you NEED out. Since "Junk Warrior" is a Level 5 Synchro Monster, the combined Levels of all monsters on you control must add up to 5, and one of the monsters MUST be your Level 3 "Junk Synchron" (as far as we know, seeing as it could be read as "Non-Tutor Monster(s)").

So, let's Duel! You go first, so you draw. Hey, you drew "Junk Synchron" (DARK/Warrior - Tutor/LV3/ATK1300/DEF????)! You've also built your deck specifically for Level 3 and under Monsters, for the sake of "Junk Warrior". So, you play "Sea King's Chief Spearsoldier" (WATER/Sea-Serpent - Normal/LV2/ATK1400/DEF 0) from PTDN in Attack Position, and set "Order to Charge", "Order to Smash", and "Soul Resurrection", and end your turn.

Your opponent draws, then Special Summons "Cyber Dragon", then Sacrifices it for "Android - Psycho Shocker" (Jinzo)! He thinks his monster is safe, when...
You acivate "Order to Charge", so you sacrifice your soldier to destroy Jinzo! Bummed out, your opponent Sets two cards then ends his tu-
Not so fast, because you activate "Soul Resurrection" to bring back your Soldier! In response to Special Summoning a Monster, you can activate "Order to Smash" to destroy BOTH your opponent's Set cards!

It's your turn again, so Draw! Now, besides being a 'Tutor', "Junk Synchron" has his own ability - When you Normal Summon him, you Special Summon a LV2 or lower Monster from the Grave! So you do, and bring back your Soldier! Now the requirements of "Junk Warrior" are not only fulfilled, but your opponent has an empty field! So, Special Summon "Junk Warrior" (DARK/Warrior - Synchro/LV8/ATK2300/DEF1300)! No tributes or nothing; better than Fusion or Ritual, but similar to both! But now the fun kicks in!
Thanks to his own effect, "Junk Warrior" gets a boost - his ATK gets increased by the combined ATK of all LV2 and lower Monsters you control! So thanks to your Soldier, "Junk Warrior" is packing a hefty 3700 ATK! but hey, you still have 2 cards left in your hand...
Now activate "Double Summon", so you can Normal Summon a second time this turn. So bring out your "Speed Warrior" (WIND/Warrior - Effect/LV2/ATK 900/DEF 300 - This effect can only be activated during the turn it was successfully Normal Summoned. You can double the ATK of this card during the Battel Phase.)! Now, activate his effect, and ATTACK! So, your 3 little monsters attack for 1800, 1400, and 1300, for a nice 4500 damage! but now it's Junk Warrior's turn! And with "Speed Warrior" out now as well, he gets cranked up to 5500 this Battle Phase! So you finish off your opponent with 2000 ATK to spare!

Betcha that'll be in the first episode of the new show LOL!
venom dragon neos - 22. Feb, 23:13

oi..

once again, its called a TUNER not a tutor
arapokemaster - 30. Jan, 23:48

This is what I understand.Besides having a fusion deck of unlimited cards and a side deck of 15 cards you also have an extra deck of 15 cards containing the synchro cards. You also have tutor monsters that you need to summon the synchro cards.Every synchro card has a specific tutor requeirment. You need to have both the listed tutor cards and other monsters whose combined levelequal those of the synchro monster you whish to summon. You still get to keep all the cards you needed to summon the synchro monster on the field making this better than fusion or ritual summon. To summon a synchro card is called advanced summon.

HaseoXth000 - 31. Jan, 00:29

So let me get this straight. You can still have any number of Fusions in your Fusion deck? The way it's written is very confusing and that is what I got out of it.
Forrenz - 31. Jan, 07:23

Ahh

I see how this is confusing. Remember, Light of Desruction is out in just over 3 weeks, and less than a month after that this is out, so we'll get more info very soon (then Duelist Genesis is out a month and five days afer this). So don't get all upset because you don't know where the Exra Deck goes.
pizzaman - 31. Jan, 15:31

Extra Deck

So from what I can tell, they changed the name of "Fusion Deck" to "Extra Deck", and made it into a Fusion + Synchro monster deck, with a 15 card limit, right?

I really hate how they're changing the word "Cost" to "Release" and "Tribute Summon" to "Advance Summon"... why would Konami change wording people are used to lol.

A: "I advance summon Blue Eyes White Dragon"
B: "I release one card from my hand and activate Lighting Vortex"

...sounds different.

Forrenz - 31. Jan, 16:02

Whoa!

I never thought those arrows meant actual changes - I thought they meant just additional rulings in those categories, like discarding cards, paying LP, and tributing for a card's effect to activate was gonna be called the "release", so cards could be read like this:
'Premature Burial'
Equip Spell
Release: Pay 800 LP.
Special Summon a Monster from your Graveyard and equip it with this card. When this card is destroyed, destroy the equipped Monster.

OR

'Exiled Force'
EARTH/Warrior - Effect/3or4?/1000/1000
Release: Tribute this card.
Destroy 1 Monster on the Field.

I dunno. And I thought "Advance Summon" was what bringing a Synchro Montser out, but calling a Tribute Summon an "advanced summon" makes some sense, because in effect it IS a higher-leveled Normal Summon...
venom dragon neos - 22. Feb, 23:17

omg

guys no one said that there changing all the names I think forrenz is right they might just be additional thingies or watever... the point is they wouldnt change all the names of terms in yu-gi-oh with the coming of a single pack.
supreme_slayer - 31. Jan, 23:05

Okay, now I;m confused as well. Thought I had it figured out.. But somebody should edit the information given for the rule changes so that they make more sense.

And if they're changing the names of things such as Tribute Summon, then I'm going to be really angry at them -.-

Killey - 1. Feb, 08:41

Interesting new features

I would be annoyed if they limited the fusion deck to 15 instead of it's current unlimited format. Renaming costs, tribute summons, etc... would be quite annoying but shouldn't dramatically impact the game. However, a lot of errata's would need to be issued in order to include the new terms. Example. Solemn Judgments text affects normal, special summoned, flip summoned, etc... so it'll have to include advance summon in an errata. Also, if they change tribute summon to advance summon they need to further define that because will it still be treated as a normal summon? It'll be interesting if summoning Sync Monsters is considered normal summoning.

cybergx - 1. Feb, 23:12

Manjyomethunder, sorry for bugging u, but if u want 2 reply 2 this, go ahead, but do you understand these Synchro monsters and does the arrows mean new changes? Cause I think everybody s confused...

ryoto_kai - 10. Feb, 15:28

Synchro monster in detailed

I'm no Manjyomethunder but the meaning of the arrow means instead of Tribute Summon you can Advanced Summon instead:-
lets say you hv Junk Synchron and Speed Warrior on your field.. With the new rules you can either
1. Tribute the 2 monster to call out Dark Magician
2.Advance Summon Junk Warrior from your Extra Deck
... and in order to advance summon you need to sacrifice those monsters its like tribute summon but not from hand that's why majyomethunder wrote
Tribute Summon -> Advance Summon NOT Fusion Summon -> Advance Summon
Most people said that u don't nid to sacrifice the tuner monster to Advance Summon but those aren true because it'll be a game breaker if you combine with Ultimate Offering-> 5 monters in 2 turn (so game breaker) as the rule evolved from Tribute Summon Not Special Summon.

Here's the Situation if they make Advance Summon doesn't need to sacrifice..
on field you have Ultimate Offering... u summoned Junk Synchron from your hand and then special summon Speed Warrior... Lightning Vortex... Then use Ultimate Offering pay 1500 LP call 3 Junk Warrior...
(2300+900)x3+900+1300=8800 DMG!!!

Why Ultimate Offering can be used??! ofcorsed its the same as tribute summon counted as normal summonfor high level monster.. so Advance summon is a normal summon for extra deck..

Possibilities 90%
Golladan - 23. Feb, 07:58

Basically

Tributing something(for costs or summoning) will receive the name of "Release"
Tribute Summons will get changed to "Advanced Summon"

So to tribute Summon Spiral Dragon, for example, you used to say "I sacrifice two monsters to Tribute Summon Spiral Dragon" or something like that. Now you will say "I release 2 monsters to Advance Summon Spiral Dragon".

Exiled Force's text used to say "You can Tribute this card to destroy 1 monster on the field", but now it will say something like "You can Release this card to destroy 1 monster on the field".
Cyber Dark Dragon - 3. Feb, 11:02

I like the news

I think these new changes will be good for the game. Everybody know that there are a lot o people leaving YGO. Some have good reasons, but others are completely foolish, leaving the game because Cyber-Stein was banned. But these changes will be very interesting, mainly the new Extra Deck made only of Synchro monsters. They may be not as powerful as the staple monsters, but they might get more people (and consequently more experts) to YGO.

Forrenz - 5. Feb, 10:56

Exactly!

Ya hit the nail on the head there.
This game needed to be revitalized to get new people in and the ones that abandoned it back in.
dandelion455 - 5. Feb, 06:31

junk = fossils ???

junk kind of reminds me of fossils maybe they have something to do with each other

Forrenz - 5. Feb, 08:44

Doubtful

Since they're both DARK Warriors, I doubt they are Fossil-related. Not to rule out them being in Duelist Genisis.
Forrenz - 18. Feb, 17:59

Man...

These new monsters look pretty cool, and it seems some of the Synchro only need a Tuner in general to be Summoned. 'Gigantech Warrior' actually looks like 'E.HERO Thunder Giant'.

I really can't wait for these now! The downer is really that if the Fusion deck becomes limited to 15 max., then some plays will be limited if you plan on using Synchro and Fusion monsters...

EliteKakashi - 18. Feb, 18:59

Reply to Forrenz-

Well actually only the [Synchro] monsters are affected by the 15 card limit.
Forrenz - 19. Feb, 01:56

Man, I hope so...

That would be such a relief...

But hey! A Synchro version of Gaia Knight with 1 less Level, 300 more ATK, and a huge drop in DEF, wierd but sweet pic!
Oddly still no pic of the Junk monsters besides the blurry Junk Warrior on the front of the box...
and I guess the costs of the Synchro monsters aren't too steep, but still tricky.
arapokemaster - 20. Feb, 17:41

This is just a guess but maybe each duelist use a different archtype of synchro's.They're are currently 5 different synchro archtypes. They'res Flambell from the duel terminal, and one of those Flambell monsters has an effect that has to do with A.O.L monsters, they'res alos X-Saber and Frozen World ,and junk monsters.Since they're are 5 main charecters in the scans this might be aliitle bit accurate. We already know Yusei use a synchro monster and that's Stardust Dragon, maybe he also uses the Junk monsters.

Forrenz - 21. Feb, 19:04

Well... It IS said that just Yusei uses Synchro monsters, but we'll have to see...
cybergx - 23. Feb, 21:15

To Manjyomethunder...

Tune Warrior actually has 1600 ATK, I found a good scan of him and Magna Drago and a couple of other cards. Hope that helps!

Forrenz - 24. Feb, 21:09

Those Junk monsters look pretty cool! Really can't wait for these!

Forrenz - 25. Feb, 18:00

Cool new pics!

Sweet!
'Commonmental' is kinda trippy; it has that vortex part going up towards the top, but then there's that hypnotic background... o.O
They all look awesome, and great Effects too!
VolcanoLord - 25. Feb, 20:51

Junk monsters

I wonder if the Junk cards are going to be in the new series, cuz if they are we might expect some more Junk monsters and support

That would be awesome

cybergx - 25. Feb, 23:03

What did I say? I said it had 1600 TK and now I have proof! I fell extra special now!
Gigantech Fighter isn't so awesome though. To bad, if only it said that if it were destroyed by anything instead of by battle, then Synchro Monsters might get somemore popularity tournament wise.

Forrenz - 27. Feb, 21:07

No duplicates

So, if the three Synchros are #s 41-3, that means there's only one copy of each card, and since they're mostly Levels 2 and 3, as well as mostly Warriors, they'll have some great support. A cool one for Tune Warrior would be using "Enchanting Fitting Room" to get all the right levels out. And 'Tune Warrior' plus 'Cyber-Tech Alligator' net 'Stardust Dragon'.

arapokemaster - 29. Feb, 02:14

Wow these tuner monsters have strong attack for monsters that are 3 or less stars.Tune Warrior has one if not the strongest attack among 3 star monsters. They should make more spell/and trap card support for the synchro's and tuners.

xeonx - 6. Mar, 00:30

u r soooo right i am looking into the future.....................i see................i see...................gravity bind illegal the same for levil limit area a its gonna be a whole new ban list for this 1 you better take to the tournaments fast.but some new support cards r for sure a reality so i can see some action coming to yugioh real soon!!!!!!!!!!
Setosama - 5. Mar, 20:38

that new attack negation card...

That seems awesome! wonder if when it's set you can activate it again same turn? That would make it just like a permanent negate attack...

ShiroRyu - 6. Mar, 12:36

I doubt it, since you Set it face-down again and you can't activate cards during the same turn they're Set. But it's still pretty neat, 1 attack negation per turn, on any attack you choose.
xeonx - 6. Mar, 00:26

omg

i just cannot believe my eyes, they said yugioh would eventually die out but i did not lose hope, its finaly a reality the rebirth of yugioh hurrrrayyyyyyyy hip hip huuuurrrraaayyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

arapokemaster - 6. Mar, 02:20

Roadrunner looks like Biyumon from digimon. It also should be a winged beast.

scorchingwolf - 6. Mar, 14:51

COOL

this deck is going to be cool and ya'll know what i think i'm going to start fresh i'm going to stick
with this deck till the end unlike jadens deck which totally sucks in real life.
BTW Roadrunner is a wing beast

xeonx - 7. Mar, 02:18

cool2

i completly agree this will definitly be a new deck to keep and yes jadens deck sux in real life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!but i can see the new dudes on yugioh 5d using this deck say 4 an example its the last play play of the duel player1=p1 has 1 card left in his deck and no cards in his hand player2=p2 has an open field and 2000 Lp left p1s turn draws summons junk warrior 2 the field his effect calls out a level 2 monster synchronization go here comes synchro hero, comes 2 the field 3stars+2stars=5stars and direct attack win.with this deck you can have a mirracle draw and win anytime, you can never be safe playing against this deck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cybergx - 6. Mar, 20:42

Scrapiron Scarecrow plus The Dark Door is just plain mean...

Forrenz - 7. Mar, 17:20

Scrap-Iron Scarecrow

When it was first posted, it was called "(something)-Kakashi". Does that mean "kakashi" means "scarecrow"? (as a Naruto fan, I'd really like to know)
Also, yeah it would probably be able to activate once a turn because it can't activate the turn it's Set, like he said. Still an awesome card.
supreme_slayer - 7. Mar, 21:57

Yes, Kakashi does mean scarecrow :/

Anyway, as for the effect, it activates and then it goes face-down. By pure logic that should tell you that it's being treated as set now, and can't be activated until next turn.
cybergx - 8. Mar, 05:13

Every good card needs a limitation. But this is does work like a Negate Attack very turn when using Dark Door with it! =)
xeonx - 8. Mar, 03:16

hey

does any1 know were a picture of black demon dragon can be found????

cybergx - 8. Mar, 05:14

yugioh.wiikia. Its the card behind Jack if need to know EXACTLY.
xeonx - 8. Mar, 15:10

hey thanks cybergx you are a big help!!!
cybergx - 8. Mar, 18:00

no prob.
Destiny Hero - Dragonguy - 11. Mar, 10:40

A Starter Deck for the Whole New Rules !!!

Awesome!!! I'm gonna get one, that's for sure. This is must buy deck after all, thanks to the new rules, known as the Master Rule. Soon or later, we will have to "Release" monster(s) to "Advance Summon" monster. Personally, the new terms are kinda cool.

arapokemaster - 20. Mar, 22:02

Release means tribute for a cost.Just check Stardust Dragon's effect. You can release it to activate it's effect.Aslo advanced summon might be special summon.
Forrenz - 11. Mar, 12:58

Hmm...

Still 10 cards unkown and 4 days until its release (teehee "release")... I'd bet Warrior-support cards would be great for this deck ('Reinforcement of the Army', 'The Allied Forces', 'The Warrior Returning Alive'), and it should be pretty easy to Synchro Summon...

cybergx - 12. Mar, 18:54

It would be so easy to summon them if you could use your opponent's monsters. That makes them a whole lot better.
Forrenz - 15. Mar, 19:59

You could use your opponent's monsters if you play 'Brain Control', but it would be even more fun to use cards like 'Raiza', 'Back to Square One', or 'Phoenyx Wing Wind Blast' to put just the right monster back on top of your opponent's Deck, then use good ol' 'Conscription' to bring it to your side. Nobody ever sees 'Conscription coming!
cybergx - 16. Mar, 18:22

Ya, Conscription is really unexpected.I did thatto my opponent one day and it was so lol. Anyways, what i mean by that is like sending your opponent's monsters without using something like Brain Control. Using theruling to send your opponent's cards to the grave.Know what I mean?
Forrenz - 16. Mar, 18:42

Hmm... Well, it only shows how to use monsters you control, but yeah, it doesn't necessarily say it has to be your monsters, huh? Kinda like 'Super Fusion'. That way "synchro" makes more snse...
cybergx - 17. Mar, 23:38

That would be so awesome if that could happen... Just imagine the look on your opponent's face after you've sac'ed all their monsters and you just summoned something like Red Daemon's Dragon or Stardusr Dragon. BTW, I made links for Manjyome if you read this comment (which you probably won't, lol) for new cards on the Duelist Genesis
supreme_slayer - 14. Mar, 05:37

Cards Here Worth Getting (If not only for a fun deck)

Tune Warrior (Maybe)
Junk Synchron
Speed Warrior
Magna Drago
Magical Ficialist (Maybe)
Copycat
Marauding Captain (Though you could get a Warrior Triumph)
Exiled Force (Ditto)
Scrap-Iron Scarecrow (Maybe)
Miniaturization

The Synchrons (Might as well use 'em)

Forrenz - 15. Mar, 19:12

You don't want ANY of the Synchro Monsters? What's so bad about them?
cybergx - 16. Mar, 18:20

Ya, they aren't THAT bad. Through proxies, they a hell (sorry, don't take this as a religious issue) of a lot better and easier to summon than Fusions.

extra deck

i was looking at translations of the new rule book. the extra deck/fusion deck is limited to 15 cards max. this includes fusion monsters.

cybergx - 17. Mar, 23:35

that has been already said though... I guess ur a little late?
RedEyesFan - 20. Mar, 13:05

oh

to summon synhcro monsters...
does all the monster on ur field be equal to the syncro monster???
Forrenz - 27. Mar, 22:31

Yes, RedEyesFan, they do... It might be tough, but Special Summoning can be the best way to go.

Junk Syncron

Junk Syncron is by a lot the best card in this starter deck. Let's you special summon any level 2 monster from your graveyard. Use that on Hand of Nepytys to automatically get a free Sacred Phoenix, or get out Calculator to give the Syncro monster a large boost.

The Iron Clad Scarecrow is pretty handy too for a little while.

cybergx - 19. Apr, 16:16

Actually...

That doesn't work. Junk Synchron NEGATES those monster's effects. You could use hand's effect though, since it won't be on the field when it effect starts.

not as we thought

ok people i was just at the duelist genesis preview and it turns out there not going to change the names of "tribute summon" to "advance summon" and "tribute" to "release". Or at least thats what im guessing. I got my hands on a stardust dragon and its card text says tribute not release, so we know there not changing that. but as for advance summoning im not sure.
