new emperor/monarch

very interesting, again a new emperor. Kreis is german und means circle in english.
I think this will be Angel type with light attribute.
Looks like this will be the real Light Emperor/Monarch, because Zaborg is the Lightning emperor/monarch.

light emperor

light emperor could be a lvl 4 monarhc (or can be special summon like cyber dragon)just to support other monachs because its crazy to hv 7 high lvls in a deck (monarch)

Emperor vs Monarch

well both emperor and monarch hv the same atk, lvl and the same style..
this could be an anti-monarch card since they gonna make monarch deck they need something to counter it..

WOW A NEW MONARCH

Wow This is a new monarch! The art of this card looks awesome!
This is the first time they are introducing warrior-type monarch which is very strange though since rest of all monarchs are elemental types.
I wonder what this card will do....The picture looks great and it must be having a good effect....Please update soon...

A possible effect:

This card can only be summoned by tributing a LIGHT monster. When this card is successfully summoned, you may tribute a number of monsters on your side of the field and destroy a number of monsters your opponent controls equal to the number of tributed monsters.

EFFECT IS OBVIOUS!

its kinda obvious what this card does...

1) zaborg=field control
2) thestalos=hand control
3) raiza=deck control
4) granmarg=face-down control
5) mobius=spell/trap control
6) Kreis= REMOVE FROM PLAY CONTROL

this deck is based on removing from play. All monarchs control something, the last Kreis is going to control the remove from play zone.

possible effect:
when this card is tribute summoned successfully, remove one card on the field from play

kreis is a Warrior monster...

i think the effect is base on what type the monarch is.
since wariors r known for swarming, it might be
"when this card is tribute summon, u can normal sumon one more time"
or
"when this card is tribute summon, u can special summon one monster from ur graveyard"

"REMOVE FROM PLAY" EFFECT ALREADY DECLARED FOR GAIUS

"Remove from play 1 card on the field" is already taken by Gauis the Wicked Monarch (Are you all dreaming or something? Didn't you all seen the card from this same site?)
Kreis is looking shiny gold! By looking at those blurry texts that card must have more than 2 or more effects! I'm eager to know it's effect.

the unknown effect

i think it would be cool if the effect of this card will be
if this card is tribute summoned successfully special summon all of your monsters removed from play to the feild

if it will be. this will be the strongest emperor/monarch

my guess

when this card is normal summoned inflict direct damage to your op lp = to the atk of the tributed monster.

UPDATE SOON

Those effects are silly, thats enough of destruction effects. It may have some useful effects like bringing back 1 card from graveyard or from play to your hand.
Can you update it soon? It's been 2 weeks by now.

LOVE THE MONARCH ART

This Kries monarch art is magnificent! Very similiar to other card arts like the 'Envoys' they are also cool. Konami did good job on this one.

Wait... Special Summon?!

Wow... Konami really broke the trend there... But he is definitely more devastating than Zaborg... destroy up to 2 cards and then draw 1 for each 1 u destroy... atleast his effect is harder to pull off... (ie. reqiures more resources...)

Actually somebody on pojo says the effect reads Normal Summoned or Special Summoned... which makes this sucker B.A.H.! (BAH = BROKEN AS HELL)

Well atleast its not broken anymore, you can make combos and kill your own cards that surved there purpose like coth. but i dont think its that good.

it says a controller of destroyed card get to draw..... means if u destroy ur opponent's card, ur opponent draws, destroys ur own, u draw, not u draw every case.

cannot attack? too bad....

it looks great at first glance.
the drawing part is not much a problem if you are going for the win or big damage!
the CANNOT attack realy killed it.....
But.... the special summoned is made up ....kinda.!
over all....is good.

MONARCHS HAS NO DRAWBACKS

Monarchs are NOT meant to have drawbacks this is the only monarch card is having a horrible drawbacks "your opponent draws cards equal to no.of destroyed cards" and "it cannot attack this turn". I was expecting a good balanced effect from it.

You CAN destroy 2 cards you control and draw 2 cards. Combo with Ojamagic, and you draw cards & Search, or other cards that just require "destroyed" like, oh I don't know, Vortex Trooper?

NICE COMBO

You can use Kries effect to destroy sacred Phoenix so on next turn it'll special summon and destroy all spells/traps that way :)
