I reckon that this is a deck based on monarchs and we may see a new dark monarch or a super monarch that is summoned by offering a monarch.

If you watch the show, there was a school trip to Yugi's home town, Domino City. There, Saitou's sister dispatched her 4 henchmen to defeat Judai and co. The last battle was against a guy who was given all his fallen comrades' Monarch monsters. Then he played a "Full Moon" something-or-other Field Spell, and by sacrificing the four Monarchs, brought out a 3300-ATK monster that, with the field spell, turned all S/T cards into Homunculous Tokens (ATK/DEF - 400).

Also, some cards from those 3 episodes haven't been released yet, but are still pretty cool, though they're Sub-Type specific, like Mobius' Castle and Guidance to Ore, as well as those Ice Knight and Thunder Knight monsters that gain ATK for each monster of the same type as them on the field. Those last two are from the same episode(s) where Super Vehicroid Stealth Union and its composite monsters were introduced, and those are in GLAS.

monarchs are way overused they need to reconsider this one...

This deck is real broken... all those monarch gonna destroy the game
me very sad...

I think they should just forget about this deck and make some new strategies up. Monarchs are over-used as it is and making more would just make them easier to get and more abundant in tourneys.

Seeing as the monarchs need sacrifices and there are like five or them:
-the new one will probly be a dark monarch
-the deck will have no lv.5 or higher monsters besides these monarchs
-lots of special summons.

along with this deck, i wouldnt be surprised if the next booster pack had cards to be used against this deck, so things could be evened out. there will probly be many new cards in this deck, so im thinkin a collectors deck. this deck might be made to suck but could be dissassembled to create more powerful decks. Other decks like this would be the Dinosaurs Rampage and the still-japanese "Curse of Darkness" deck.

There are possibilities, and the idea is appealing from more angles than one.

An Emperor Structure Deck and it's released at my Birthday!!!

This is a monarch struture deck. That's cool.
I dunno about you guys but I think that the monarch fusion guy would be really neat if it was in this pack.
(it wasn't actually a fusion but had the special summon requirement of having all of them in the grave or something like that...)

it's really sad, at my last regionals I asked what decks people used for those almost every answer was "Monarch control using card trooper and Disc commander" if that deck hits america every single deck will be a monarch deck to to the availability of these cards. Guess the Japanese don't use monarchs if there is gonna be a deck for them

Doesn't the new ban list hinder Monarchs now, with only 1 copy of both Card Trooper and Brain Control, and I think only 1 of Disk Commander too? Dark World Decks should be able to keep an opponent's Monarchs under their control, using Dark Deal on Brain Control or whatever, then its effect discards Reign-Beaux, and it would still be your opponents turn. Also, Serpentine Princess would let you Special Summon a monster after Riser sends her to the deck, and then you would shuffle, so you wouldn't draw Serpentine Princess again (cross fingers)

As long as you know how what you're up against, its not all that difficult to counter. I.E. System Down clears your opponent's Machines away, so Overload Fusion (or Cyberdark Impact!) would have to be held back. Six Samurai can be easily crushed by Normal-Skill Drain, and so on and so on.
Oh, and the cards I mentioned before are "Blue Moon" and "Demiurgh".

Monarch are Elementals. They each respresent a force of nature, in its on element. It's not Thestalos The FIRE Monarch, it's Thestalos the FIRESTORM Monarch, or Mobius the WATER Monarch, no, it's Mobius the FROST Monarch, hence I think that the Dark Monarch won't be a Hell Monarch or something like that. He will be a Dark equivalent of a Dark Force of nature. I have no idea what would that be... :-D Maybe a Night Monarch? :-/

The Shadow Monarch!!! that sounds awesome!!! I would buy this deck even tho I do not like monarchs. I only have the earth one and Raiza and I don't use then at all!!! My deck is a sacred beast deck so I see no reason for monarchs.. if u see a reason put a comment for me to use them and any ideas to help my deck.

if we mass release monarchs, everyone will use, the mirror matches will make the game boring, so everyone will go orignal, and monarchs wont ruin the game anymore, heres what i say to that WHAT THE BL*OODY F*UCK WAS KONAMI thinking
That is konamis level of thinking, they dont know the human nature, if we get something good, we wont give it up, everyone will change bout 10 cads in this dark, and then evryine will play nearly the same deck, KONAMI IS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a side note, my meta has no monrchs, so this will be fun (laughs evily)

Over in Japan, Monarchs aren't as much as a problem as it is over here (in America), so no wonder they're creating a Monarch SD. Don't worry guys, it's not like it'll come out here any time soon; it'll be held back/canceled until further notice, just like the Light and Dark SDs.

For Destiny Hero Plasma....Konami did not include the last effect. ''When this card is to be destroyed by battle(or card effect). The equipped monster is destroyed instead''.
This is really important why didn't they add to it?

When will this stucture deck will arrive? Can they at least tell the name of the cards?

after looking at the GA cards, could the pic on the card:special dual summon be the new monarch? o_O

the rarity might be super rare as all the rest of the monarches r super rare...

so if dark monarch is ultra or common, he will be very lonely.
so the ultra rare card must be that Emma

Some cards like Mobius' Palace and Mobius' Glacier might be in this....but there will be a change in these effects not like in anime.
There mght also be more support cards for all monarchs and a perfect combos too.
About the new monarch....he/she could be of any type of monster cards like Effect,Gemini,Fusion or Ritual....but not sure he/she is a Dark/Fiend or some other elementals....If it's a dark attribute then it should be an elemental type.....and this Fiend type is not and cannot be considered as an elemental type.....it's a devil like thing.....Mobius,Granmarg and Zaborg are the right elemental monsters. Even Raiza also but being a Winged-beast....
Lets what this new monarch will turn out to be, when this deck arrrives....

Whats next?

I'm surprised that people in japan aren't using monarchs more since they have a different ban list and and they have cards that we don't have. I was thinking they have dandelion which is perfect monarch food since dandelion gets his effect no matter how its sent to the graveyard. meaning lightning vortex, discard dandelion, special two fluff tokens and summon mobius to clear the field. The rumor by the way for the dark monarch is that when he hits the field he removes any one card from play. We have his pic now all we need is his effect to see if its true.

all of the Different Dimension monsters and cards!!! Because they would help the monarchs!! I want the dark monarch!!!!!!!

Wasnt expecting the D.D. cards to be in here. Treeborn Frog and Sacrafice Lotus is not going to be in this deck, cause it just wudnt make sense.It looks like this deck will use D.D. Survivor as its treeborn frog. i can bet return from the different dimension and/or Dimension Fusion will be in here.

I heard that this is going to be the 2nd structure deck. (First in english) that is going to have a common Mirror Force. Wow, `.` I bet the english duelists are going to enjoy that.

I wonder what his effect do? I bet it goes somthing like this:

And his ATK and DEF is the same as all the Monarch cards and I think his type is Fiend.

So here we are...Gaius the Wicked Monarch. Well it does or doesn't relate to elemental series as other monarchs has.....this dark monarch here has relation to Different Dimension series perhaps it could be a fiend and it might have a removal effect, like it removes any card or from opponent's hand or from it's deck from play.
Anyways we'll see what exactly this monarch is....and also we'll get to see new cards.

Well Manjyo says it's atk and def is unknown right now. ^_^ I dunno about you but I'm gonna guess that it's attack is rougly around 2400 or so....and I bet it's defense might be around 1000. Call it a hunch.

Well considering the pattern of Emperors, I doubt it'd have a gain effect. It's most likely going to have a effect that has something to do with removing cards on the opp's field from the game. In which case, if it's like any other Emperor in this cute little card game of ours. That would be quite a boost for the monarch deck. O-o Already the monarch deck mostly consists of trample plague. 1 more wouldn't hurt ^_^ If it is to be unique at all amongst the other monarchs though...I think it'd have to like...

and 1 destroys a monster. I think... `.` I dunno for sure at the moment if the thunder emperor just destroys monsters or not.

Well I'd say if it removed 1 card from play. It'd be similar to the wind emperor but enough to be irritating. I'd definitely run that card. `.` Even though it’d literally make the Thunder Emperor worthless. So it’d probably be something like… remove 1 face-up card or 1 face-up monster from play. So I’d be like the Earth Emperor but opposite and…less likely for it to come back.

^_^ Well a structure only comes with 5 new cards and we know 3 of them.
I highly doubt they'd actually make Mobius Palace a real card.

And I dunno about the Emperor Fusion since according to Janime, it wasn't actually a fusion but a monster that can be special summoned by offering 4 lv 5 or higher monsters with different attributes, and even if they did make that card, It's effect seems highly contradictory to the new theme of the deck to justify it taking the last 2 new cards. Since it itself doesn't remove cards at all, and neither does the card used to summon it... (By the way. I've NEVER seen 4 emperors on the field ever. Even in the most devoted Emperor control decks. If anyone here is telling me that they can reliably summon 4 emperors to use that card without Dandelion AND without eating at least 2000 life points with Ultamite Offering or more with Mausoleum which is useless for Emperors since they don't get their effects, I'd be MORE then impressed.)

Granted, I CAN imagine them making a Emperor terrain card which would be unfair. ^_^ Remove 1 monster in your graveyard from play to Normal Summon 1 Emperor from your hand. This summon is treated as a Tribute Summon. That would make it a LOT easier to get 4 on the field at once but it'd still be difficult but there again. If they make that card, then they don't have enough cards to make the fusion, but I honestly would rather have that field card for my Emperor Deck if I ran 1 then their rather less then useful fusion.

Anyway. TCG duelists can look forward to the common Mirror Force and everyone can look forward to a quick, cheap way to get ahold of all the emperors + a lot of ready made DD stuff.

Do you all know the meaning of "Wicked"? It's not something related to elemental or good thing like other Monarchs have. It actually means evil in nature or something pure evil.

No wonder it's a Dark version of Monarch.

do you think there will be macro cosmos and helios the primadorial sun in this deck, coz it will provide a sacrifice

this deck is gonna get pwnzed so bad... i can't believe. if anything, it might be good for collecting cards, but in a duel?

i agree with most people about the remove from play thing, but i have a feling that will not be the effect, just because wen was the last deck that came out with really broken attainable cards?? (ok, exclude Crush card virus and solemn judgement from the other decks, and solemn judgement is just good. those decks were in Japan only and tose cards r hard to find there though.) i am guessing that its effect is more likely "wen this card is tribute summoned, destroy 1 face-up card on the field.
like Zaborg destroyed 1 monster, Mobius destroyed spells and traps, thestalos discarded a card from the opponent's hand, granmarg destroyed a face-down, and Raiza bounced a card to the deck.The only things that i can think of for his effect is that he either removes a monster, or gets rid of a face up. All the monarchs gave your opponent at least a -1, or screws up ur opponent fer a turn. lets just be patient and wait for the next update about this deck.

That would be silly...I don't think Gaius will remove 1 monster from play because Zaborg has that same effect to remove a monster then we use macro cosmos.
Ok I have got some couple of effects that Gaius may have....Possibly it should be one of these....take a look.
1) "When this card is tribute summoned successfully, remove 1 card on the field from play" (this effect is broken just guessing though)
2) "When this card is tribute summoned successfully, your opponent selects 1 card from his/ her field or hand and remove that selected card from play"
3) "When this card is tribute summoned successfully, select 1 card which is removed from play and add that card to your hand"
4) "When this card is tribute summoned successfully, without looking select 1 card from your opponent's hand and add that card to your hand"
5) "When this card is tribute summoned successfully, Destroy 1 face-up card on the field if it is a monster card inflict damage to your opponent's lifepoints equal to it's ATK or DEF(whichever higher the most) of the destroyed monster"

I love the 3rd and 5th effects...maybe these effects maybe used for other new monsters not the monarchs though...anyways we'll find out soon.

the monarchs are very broken meaning that it can be used for ANYTHING. This isn't what yugioh was made to do, I am a very pissed off customer and I've been playing this game since I was in the 7th grade (I'm in 12th now)~USA

I think that Konami should think about creating another type of deck that can help support players. Reprinting the deck isn't a good idea because then the customers think that you guyz reprint all the cards once it comes out. For example, I think that the english version of Il blud will be reprinted in a stupid zombie structure deck 2 (thats not right) we pay the money to get the cards first and then konami decides to make that card which we valued soooo much into a starter/structure/tin card.

I vote that monarchs should be LIMITED to 1 per deck and NOT release this deck in USA!

wen i get this ill probably split it into 2 different decks a D.D. and a monarch one. And I know how everyone thinks this is going to ruin the meta becuase of the.....gettability of the monarchs but think of it this way: if everyone does start using a monarch deck, all you have to do is side a bunch of anti-monarch cards and u cood go 2 a tourny and sweep the floor w/ everyone :)

I think the effect will be one of the following:
1) When this card is tribute summoned, remove from play 1 random card from either player's hand.
2) When this card is tribute summoned, remove from play 1 random card from your opponent's hand.

right now konami must be creating some random cards... they don't care anything about how the game will end up when they create those cards.. monarchs are over used and i'm sure the english ver would not be release..
tips..
-negate monarchs summon to negate it's effect..(judgement of wrath/Kick back)
-if you can't negate it then just attack it it has low attack points anyway

this little guy will speed up the monarchs and make them more usefully than they are already. But there is still one unknown card.

Gauis got the effect evryone wanted ot to have!! This will seriusly cripple a lot of decks (Zombie, for example) Also with an added bonus! But they should have put someone this good in a set, like phantom darkness, or light of destruction. now evryone can have a very very cheap card. and i predict Treeborn Frog's ban, simply because now we'll get Kaiser Sacrafice. Gaius' effect is very similar to Raiza though...

has it's effect. Yey. Now we can all die peacefully and prepare our Pulling the Rugs, Masks of Restricts and Forced Backs.

As for Frog, he'll SURELY be banned, not so much because of Kaiser Sacrifice, which is very bad IMO, but mainly because of the watered Treeborn Frog, Sacrifice Lotus.

ultimate offering would be really good now because you could summon kaiser then pay 500 life points to summon a monarch and keep repeating that until you have summoned all of your monarchs

Holy Cow!!! I can't believe it it's after all true! it DOES remove from play 1 card on the field and PLUS inflicts 1000 damage!!! (well atleast not equal to destroyed monster's ATK or DEF as I mentioned it previous comments) now thats what I called 'Double Broken' card!
Wow I can't wait to see duelists play GAIUS the wicked monarch in all tournaments.

I knew the dark monarch effect removes a card from play plus it inflict 1000 life points to your opponent.

Well you guys were right. It's effect is indeed remove any 1 card. This is all well and good but this Emperor just made the Thunder Emperor absolutly pointless to run. If they had at least made it 1 Face-up card, then the Thunder Emperor would still have a little bit more use with this card out and about.

I knew they would make summon support for the Emperors but I was half hoping for a Field card or something. Similar to the Antique Gear Castle.

My original idea I posted earlier might've been over powered but still. Something like that would be interesting. I'm not an Emperor deck user but few of my friends are and it'd be nice to see their deck get a bit stronger since the Emperors are starting to drop quite a bit. Still these effects are rather nice. Kaiser Sacrifice has quite a big down side that Card Enchanter too suffers from, namely that it's stats are far too low and it doesn't live long enough to really shine. To be quite honest, Emperors just plain don't have enough of a problem being tribute summoned to justify such a slow card being added to the deck.

And if that truley the effect of that trap card, then it is VERY NOT USEFUL. It has the exact same effect as Pulling the Rug except it has the added effect of letting the OWNER of the monster draw a card!? O_o What!? Unless you want to negate your own Emperor's effect how ON EARTH does that card stick out when Pulling the Rug does the same thing except it doesn't destroy the summoned monster!?

If it's effect TRULEY is what it does. Then you can negate your Emperor you tribute summoned to get just to not have it's effect go off, which doesn't seem useful to me unless the opp Pulling The Rugged it in which you MIGHT AS WELL activate it to keep your monster alive and draw a card. I guess in an Emperor Deck it could have a rare use but would that honestly justify the deck space!? O_o really!?

You can put it in a Gem Beast deck, negate Sapphire Pegasus first effect for a quick draw. It would have the most use in a Gadget deck whcih would allow you to negate the last Gadget that's effect wont do anything anyway just to get a free draw and then have the boost of possibly negating any scary monster that the opp might have, but again does this effect REALLY justify the deck space in these decks which practically require to be small in order to flow.

This card AT BEST lets you have a +0 or a -1 just so you wont get a poke from a single effect, and is absolutly worthless next to Pulling the Rug in any deck that doesn't run a quantity of monsters like Emperors and Gears since when they do pull that 1 out of 40, they're PROBABLY going to rather have the effect then an effect less monster + a card and they definitly wouldn't want the opp to draw a card and STILL HAVE their 2400 atk emperor on the the field when Pulling the Rug doesn't have to worry about either of these problens while accomplishing the same thing.

So anyway, that's my oppinion on these 3 new cards. The Emperor is quite a wonderful boost for the Emperor deck which I know my friends will be glad to hear, and maybe I'll buy a pack or 2 of this and make a quick Emperor deck of my own to mess around with. Not like the pieces will go to waste when I disband it ^_^ as Emperors are all around cards...except for the Thunder Emperor who is now just plain worthless in the shadow of this new new Emperor. (Sigh, and it didn't have to be this way if they had just put and face-up card. It'd still be useful enough and people would still flock to this structure deck like sheep and it wouldn't make 1 of their Emperors; possibly 2 since the earth emperor is only still useful with this card's existance in the fact that it's still useable even after you have 3 of this dark emperor in a deck.) except collection value for those who have the Super Rare and Ultamite Rare versions of it.

Well, I guess I see how the effect could be used in the deck. You can tribute summon for Zaborg while you only have your own monsters, and then activate that to negate the effect and draw a card instead.

Gaius is too powerful! Removing a card from the field is a strong enough effect, and he also has a burn effect as well! That's not right! Monarchs= Way overpowered now.

they are puttin monarchs in a basic deck u can buy 4 $10 now i gotta sell all my monarchs before it comes out

cool effect, work well in any based dark type deck+ a combo with the dark room.

i've seen the deck list.. most of the M/Ts are weak... the only good thing in this deck is monarch

OOOOOOOOOOOHH they added a highly rare card! D.D. Warrior, they probably won't include this card in the US version though

since this is a remove from play deck, shouldn't be more soul absorpsion, and it could do with a chaos greed
