i to hope to see jims cards in this set but theres still hope they can be in tactical evolution cuz theres still 54 more cards to be seen. I dont really like some of jaden's new cards chaos neos is just a more powerful version of dark neos i kinda thought triple contact fusion monsters would have both the neospacians effects like magma neos has grand mole and glowmoss' effect and is very strong. Another cool idea for this set would be the sacred beast support cards used by martin like that monster after tributed can summon all three beasts from the grave. also as many comments as ive left this site about them(lol) i hope there would be new roids in this set. One last thing i would like to see in this set is more cyber support and more destiny hero cards(im still confused about the whole bloo-d/plasma thing on when it will come out in the U.S.). Anyways these are my usual requests when it comes to new sets and i hope some of my requests will be feayured in this set.

yeah, it has been noticed the structured release patterns of sets. Otherwise, this must mean that Amon's cards won't be in TAEV...3 more months I have to wait...but at least this set also has new Rokubushu and Alien supports, but its not like anybody uses Rokubushu supports anyways. I'm just hoping this makes Aliens finally playable.
Also, about the Aliens, anyone notice [besides me] that they've been continuously making Alien supports in every set after their release in POTD? Well, TAEV is the yet-to-be-seen exclusion. But I have faith that someone over at Konami seems to really like Aliens, so maybe the trend will continue for a year. Since TAEV will come out for EN in Aug, that does mean that Aliens will have been running for a full year, and then some at Nov. But Gladiator's Assault...I believe there are Warriors to be found in this set. why else name it that?!

The Gem Beasts are also my favorite theme deck. Heh, I've been running the Gem Beasts as proxies long before Force of the Breaker ever came out, I'm glad I have a real Gem Beast deck now.

I don't care for amon's card much. I thought aliens were awesome when they first came out in POTD. But they weren't really playable except at the pre release. But now in FOTB aliens are complete. now they have a field card that powers them up and a continuous magic that makes them broken. In TAEV hopefully they have the card snake whistle which summons a reptile monster LV.4 from your deck when a reptile on the field is destroyed. I can't wait to see what gladiators assault has in store aliens and six samurai.

Anyone notice that in the past few sets they have introduced entire themes almost in a pack. I think it started in EEN with dark world. I think every set since then has had a theme or two. FOTB has two themes in it. Oh and with a name like gladiators assault. what four letter scheme will they use? I hope gladiators assault has more dark world cards. they are my favorite.

Oh, so It looks like now they are making special rarities for each set now. Cool , a holographic Rare. I wonder how that'll look and which card it could be?

the new rarity found in the sets are going to be parallel rares. if you have never seen a parallel rare you can go to your local hobby league. All the leagues have them as tournament prizes. Its a card that the entire card is shiny. Like it has metalic holographic flakes all over the card. the easiest one to find and see isspear dragon HL03-en004. I have 5 parallel rare cards. They are pretty cool looking.

I really hope they start printing cards from previous seasons and the previous yugioh show. the last time we saw anything from the old show was lost millenium. I hate how all they wanna do is release cards according to what season is playing. I mean yeah alot of people wanna see the new cards like rainbow dragon but still. Alot of old school duelist like myself wanna see older cards. Like me. I'm dying to see Gorlag from Alister's deck in waking the dragons. He had the perfect fire deck. O'Brien is okay but he has nothing on gorlag. I just hope they don't forget about the older stuff.

Moving on. Yugioh GX 3rd season should start soon on TV in the states. because FOTB will be coming out in may. so they better start airing soon because they should not release the gem beast before everyone sees what they can do. it can build hype for the pre release. By the way people go to the pre release if you can. they are the best. everyone has the same cards. no one better than anyone else. And recently we have been getting really good cards as the pre release promos.

There is one method to increase the atk strength drastically...that involves the field spell mosoleum of the emperor and Megamorph. Ehero deck needs tributes. Use the field spell effect to pay lifepoints in 1000s for 1 tribute. In the meantime when you're lifepoints happen to be lower than your opponent's, it'll double your monster's atk. However it's risky cos it chips off lots of your lifepoints.

Another method to power-up your monsters indirectly is to power-down your opponent's monsters. Like for example Shrink, or Beast of Gilfer

can someone please explain the whole second summon thing to me i dont understand how that works. and i really hope that trap that zane used against syrus is in this, (the one where it changes all the monsters in the graveyard into a certain type of monster) oh yea that would kick soooooo much ass. Well it looks like the booster packs are gonna stray away from the Gem Beasts which probably means they'll never be seen again... Which is fine since the set was destined to not last long only having 8 monsters. The only reason the Six Samurai have lasted more than 2 booster packs is because people think they're cool (which they are, I kinda like them myself even though I don't run a deck with them) I thought the Destiny Heros were gonna die off a long time ago but they seem to keep popping up here and there. All I can hope for is they make a Gem Beast Premium Pack in the future with a complete collection of them that's Secret Rarea and a couple cool new Spells and Traps.

Who knows... maybe they might actually live to see Gladiator's Assault. Even if we wont find a deck that's more interesting to play with as the Gem Beasts for a very long time, we can always rest easy knowing we'll never be too far out of touch with the E-heros ^_^ lol, my poor E-hero deck is lacking in...usefulness since I keep stealing from it to make other decks. Oh well...

Anyway, there are other sites to download full episodes in Japanese but every time I've mentioned one by name the message gets deleted, probably by mods since it's some kind of infringment, I dunno...All I know is, is snag Gagagigos and other useful Reptile trades whenever you can from the ignorant people who don't know of the Venom Deck yet!!! Hurry, time is running out !

if there are the cards of adrian gecko(amon garam) here this will be a great set. the cards of adrian are great. I like eye of typhon and sheep cloud and i hope that this set will have more support for the gem beasts like GEM TREE,GEM RELEASE,GEM FLASH,
PRISM WALL,RAINBOW BLESSINGS ect........................

Well considering this is a character pack like Force of the Breaker, I haven't given up hope that Konami still like Johan... (Still sad about what happened to him in the newest episode) and released his Gem Tree and Gem Fortress and maybe all his other cards I have absolutly no room for in my wonderful Gem Beast deck but I'll definitly throw them in anyway. They might play it like the Six Samurai and just release 2 or so cards a pack, and that'll be ok... unbarebably nerveracking but ok...but I still believe Konami hasn't ditched my Johan yet!

As for Jim's cards. My goodness his deck looks fun to play with. I dunnno if it'll be useful. (expecially if his deck is forced to rely on the opponent using dinosaurs and warriors) but it still looks really neat. I can say I would really like to run his deck if he was to get more support for it, but since it'll be a while. We'll just have to chill for a while and root for him when he duels with evil "you know who"

I still believe that the Gem Beast cards will be in this pack, but I was wondering. Anyway, I was looking through Judais deck and besides Chaos Neos, I couldn't think of any new E-heros to put in this pack or relavents, so do you think they're going to possibly have Overlord Judai's Evil Heros and Dark Fusion in this pack? That would be really cool.
I only know the names of the revealed Dark Fusion Evil heros right. I dunno anything else about them but my guess is these.

I guess we'll have to wait till Overlord Judai plays the cards in the anime to find out what they do but they're going to be played LONG before the end of the 3 months in which this pack is scheduled to be released so there's a chance they'll be in here if Judai's card are really in this pack.

Someone of u think that the super fusion card in episode 140 will be a fossil card or an evil hero. Personally i think that the super fusion card is of Jim cz his fossil fusion cards can only be summoned by only three types of monsters(dinosaur,warrior,machine and this monsters must be in the oponent graveyard),so he need a very strong card. If this is a very strong card and is in this set maybe it will be the holographic card.

looks like the evil heroes are going to be called evil elemental heroes in america, because of the card stratos, to be effected by stratos in japan you need only the word HERO, but in america you need elemental hero or destiny hero

hey you know what would be a cool idea if flame wingman fuses with sparkman to make shining flare wingman what if inferno wing fuses with necroshade to make idk evil hero inferno darkness fiend or something what do you think?

Well this is a question that has come to mind which has made my TCG playing friend concerned. I play OCG only and he plays TCG only. Well upon reading cards such as
"E-hero Airman"
"Hero Signal"
"E-Emergency Call"
"E-hero Necroman"
All these cards say "E-hero" with no furigana for "elemental" above them. Which means all these cards can work on the Evil-Heros as well as the Elemental Heros which is fine, but when they get translated into TCG, the Evil Heros are going to be spelt on the card.
"Evil Hero Malicious Edge"
"Evil Hero Inferno Wing"
Instead of "E-Hero Inferno Wing"
Which means all those cards that work on the Elemental Heros wont work on the Evil Heros like they would for their OCG counterparts.
Do you suppose they'll make a ruleing on this or will the TCG Evil Heros obtain a "treated as Elemental hero" effects.

someone know how many episodes does have the third season of yugioh GX ? the first had 52, the second had the same and if the third will have 52 i really cant understand that in the few episodes that remains jim,o'brien will duel again.we know only 26 cards of jim but the special edition of tactical evolution conteins (fossil tusker) and i think that is a card played by jim. so jim will duel again(i think) cz he was one of the best duelists of the five academies and till now i dont see strong cards played by him. i like the cards of jim and i really hope he will duel again so i can see more of his cards .

for answering my question and it would make more sense if jims cards were in this pack not the clouds( im not complaining bout the clouds there awesome to an extent) come on the packs name is gladiator assault so they should at least include one of the knights of jim's in this pack. The clouds should have came out a long time ago think about it rainbow dragon came out right after it was shown which deserved to be shown released right after it was shown that reminds me of when i didnt use this site and i used toywiz instead a few days after the episode when joey summoned gearfied the swordmaster the pack was announced this was in america mind u srry for the long winded post

The cloudians are so powerful! Not in terms of Atk, but in effect. I haven't been this excited since the destiny hero's, I am going to love playing these. The only three questions I have are 1) are the destiny hero's going to be in this pack, 2) are there fossils in this pack, and 3) will there be more venom cards in this pack? The venoms need more monsters.

The cloud monsters are really weak.. but they can be great later on in a duel, especially if you manage to summon more than one at a time with their support.

Also.. all of the art in this pack is funky.

Cloudians will find Spirit Barrier veeeeeeeeery useful.

Yeah i got excited when I saw the new cool looking dinosaur in the set (reminds me of Guardian Grarl), but then I read its effect and I was let down.

Sure it supports the new "gladiator" theme and that's cool, but dinosaur need support for them. I'll admit he is a cool and great addition to this new sub-theme but I as a dinosaur duelist would have wanted more and better dinosaur support. Guess i have to wait for next set and hope it happens.

i can stop worrying.new roids!!!!!!!!!! even though stealth union's effect is completely changed from the anime its still good. i can wait to boost up my roid deck when this set comes out.

Awesome, roids are fun. I'd be cool if "Spare Car" and "Naviroid" were in this pack. I think there were a couple other roids I wanted to see, but oh well. ^_^ Just getting any new roids is cool.

I can't wait for the cloudians, their effects allow
great strategies for just about any duelist.
Verfalk pointed out that Spirit Barrier is useful
with cloudians and ojamaking commented about
them being water angels. But I found out that is
because they support the effect of The
Sanctuary in the Sky, which kinda makes sense.
If you also add Astral Barrier (which nobody
minds using) your opponent will be forced to
attack directly without you losing any Lp.
Another idea is using Mother Grizzly, Ultimate
Offering, Big Wave Small Wave and Salvage to
quickly swarm the field and accumulate more
fog counters.

I don't think fossils will ever come out because
Jim's deck is all about adaptability towards the
opponent's style. His fusion deck has about 3
fusions for almost every type in the game.
Konami would have to make about 30 fusions
per pack! Or just make the 9 fusions shown in
the series and make the fossil deck less
playable.

Last, does anyone know if there will be more
support for normal monters?

the fusion monsters of jim are not difficult to be played.with the combination of some cards the fossil cards can be played easly.
with witch of black forest i can add to my hand a dinosaur,machine or warrior from my deck(this monster must have def 1500 or less and would be better if is a 8stars monster).
after that i can play foolish burial and send that monster to opponent graveyard and then by playing fossil fusion i can special summon those monsters.
for the rock monsters in my graveyard i can send 1 with the effect of rock bombardament or perforation of miracle(i think that will come out if the cards of jim does).
would be better if the deck is not completly based on fossil fusion monsters but only partly.the deck must be based on rock monsters too.guardian sphinx,megarock dragon would be good supports for this kind of deck.

phosphrens, you're right. I totally forgot they're Fairys. I think that Sanctuary would be a better card than Spirit Barrier, but I will also include at least a copy of the Barrier, so I can finally use it in some deck. :-)

As for Fosills, I think that they should release Samsara Dogma, Zane's card that's like DNA Surgery for Graveyards, and then there were no problems for the Fosills.

as much as i like Jim's fossils, they suck since their too hard to fusion summon and some you have to use time stream which cuts your life points in half which sucks unless you put a spell economics in their to not pay half your life points. but the clouds have plenty of good support
and are good but i don't like them.

Hey Manjyome Thunder, I have a doubt on the
spelling of GLAS JP-011, because I believe its
either Cloudian Cirrus or Cirrostratus. This
makes me think of fusions between cloudians,
like Cloudian-Cumulonimbus from Sheep Cloud
and Nimbusman. I know it sounds crazy but it
does make sense.

I still hope more vanilla support will come out.

hey hamon you were right about the effect of foolish burial.i tried to make a simple strategy but now i see that it wont never work.i didnt notice that the effect of foolish burial was changed.
but this dont mean that the cards of jim will be less playable when them come out and if doesnt come out in this set i am quite sure will come out in the next set.
i really hope that their effects will be better then the anime effects cz jim is one of the best duelist and his cards must be too strong like the gem beasts,volcanics,venoms and cloudians.
if ogc changed the effect of eye of the typhoon(is better than the anime effect) why jims card cant be changed.

so far the evil hero's shown are opposite to hero's from elemental energy and lost millenium, so they may put in lighting golem and hell sniper in this set because they are opposite of thunder giant and rampart blaster. U think maybe they could make ones for tempest unless dark gaia is somehow related. the only way my theory is wrong is if that they put wild cyclone in this set because he is opposite to wild wingman which is a card from enemy of justice.

jims cards are definitely not going to be in here because they would've announced it already being released in the pack but maybe next pack because they've already done axels, adrians, and johans so why not?

these cards look awesome. Ive never seen any of the jap version of the of this show but the English all the time. The Gladial beasts are lookin great already and is it me or do they sort of sound liek some of the gemini/dual monsters from tactical evolution?

Well, I think at this point it might be safe to say that the Fossils will not be in this booster pack. Oh well, They're not far away however so that's good news. ^_^ There's a lot of likelyhood flowing around which will suggest there's gonna be Jewel Beasts in this pack, that's good to hear. It's a good assumption that there will be 5 support cards for my favorite deck, namely the Gem Beasts which I'm looking forward to

(I've been known as the Jewel Beast guy long before the Gem Beasts ever even came out in OCG ^_^)

Ultamite Gem god Rainbow Darkness Dragon and Gem Whereabout likely be 2 of them since his duel with Kaiser will be aired a few weeks before the pack itself. The cool part is, even if Gem Release, Tree, Flash and Formation aren't in this pack. Those and likely 2 more will be in the new Johan Duelist pack.

I'm very much looking forward to the Evil Heros. The Clouds I'm still skeptical about, they're perfecly fine as a deck I'm sure, I'm just not sure if that deck'll be for me. I'll definitly run 1 though with whatever cards I get for them. And well, the Gladiator Beasties are interesting. They're the creative theme for the pack. Which all packs are getting now. Gem Beasts, Dual Monsters and now the Gladiator Beasts. It's probably almost a given if I say the next packs's creative theme will be the Fossils, of course that's just wishful thinking on my and a few other's parts. ^_^

Now, the deck I'm gonna have trouble getting ahold of is the Arcanas which are starting to pop out fo the wood work which'll be another creative theme I'm sure.

As for the Evil Heros. They'll help the fluidity of the traditional Fusion Hero deck which is exciting since that's something they've been waiting for since Airman which only helped minorly overall. It is a shame the Evil Heros can't abuse E-hero support cards. To be honest I was getting pretty exciting of the idea of showing off the Evil Hero Elemental Hero support abuse that I would've been able to do and they couldn't. (I know that's a little immature ^_^)

Anyway, dunno about the Clouds, dunno about the Gladiators but both seem at least interesting. Evil Heros totally into the most, but hey. I was only looking forward to the Venoms and Rainbow Dragon in Tactical Evolution and I ended up likeing the Dual monsters even though my Dual Monster deck was anything but successful.

im jus gonna add another comment. I have three theories about the new six sammurai support cards.
1. maybe liek RedEyesFan said, maybe theyll fuse liek the Elemantal heroes do.
2. Theyll have six-samurai only equip cards that boost wat they do or attack power.
3. maybe theyll continue the idea for removing six samurai monsters from the graveyard liek Shiens councilor- Enishi? but i highly doubt this as wat other titles could they give them and that would require 3 sets of six samurai cards.

I think that the Cloudians have Field Spell.I think if Elemental Heros have 2 Field Spell,D-Heros have 2 Field Spell 2.So, that means that the Cloudians have Field Spell 2 and I think that his Effect will b like this:

Cloudian Field Spell (It's not the name)-Once per turn, put 2 "Fog Counter" on a "Cloudian" monster.While this card is face-up on the field, "Cloudian" monsters can b in Defense mode and they will not b destroyed.

but the most of the "Cloudians" r Angel-Type so "The Sanctuary in the Sky" will help 2.Also, the Cloudians r WATER monsters, so "A Legendary Ocean" will help 2.

Well according to reasoning, there's a REALLY good chance that there will be 5 Gem Beast cards in this pack...at least in theory. Most likely magic cards.
and we can assume 2 more E-Hero (^_^ Not E.Hero) fusions which I'm assuming are Lightning Golem and Hell Sniper. It'd be awesome if Dark Calling was in this pack.

The fact they're being delayed when it's already a month early isn't a problem at all, but I guess it's cool that it's comming out sooner but it's still a bit odd. Why it's comming out sooner, cause he junked his Cloud deck for an Exodia deck, and then junked that deck for a Sacred Demon deck? ^_^ Kinda sad that Amon already got rid of his Cloud deck before people even got a chance to use the cloudians. Kinda puts a new spin onto theme decks that are painfully temporary. Without Amon running his cloud deck anymore it's HIGHLY unlikely they would make much support for the deck in the future.

The other option is that season 3 is almost over...at least I think it is. ^_^;;; this is the longest season of Yu-gi-oh by a lot so it's kinda hard to be sure, and they want to get straight to the epic pack which will be next. Dunno what the next pack is called but it's gonna have some awesome monsters in it since it's all the season 3 finally cards.

Maybe Yuberu and some of her cards, I bet she's going to be the cover card of the pack and thus might be the Holo.

Maybe some more Evil Heros and adding in the Fossil monsters.

Anyway. Gladiator's Assault is delayed but being late to be early still makes it early. I haven't really looked at the Clodian's effects closely, nor the Gladiator beasts but from what I understand when the Gladiator's attack, they special summon a different Gladiator Beast which is seems very interesting decks worth playing with.

Why is it that they still have not made the rest of the destiny heros? There is only 8 left and with those 8 cards, my destiny hero deck would super powerful. Makes no sence... can anyone think of a reason? I cant.

i was thinking the same thing unlucky report has to be used some how and i see they made a semi- creature swap trap card ( the bamboo sword got some support and theres another card in the set i think that doesnt destroy soul absorbing bamboo sword or wat every its called energy absorbing box and mayjoume is doing the translation as we speak the new card that some ppl might like rock fossil release and i think the cloudians get a field spell ascending air current

I'm really excited that they have new six samurai cards out, and I hope that they have more. There's still 24 unkown cards, and a few cards don't have their effects yet, so I'm hoping that I can complete my six samurai deck. Also, I want to thank Manjyome for getting all these cards out. A lot of people were getting pissed because he didn't, but I thank him becuase now I'm excited. One last thing, I want some people's oppinion. In a deck based only on six samurai, vs a deck based only on gladial beasts, who do u think would win? Anyways, ttyl guys

magic slime looks intriguing which would be pretty cool to make a slime deck and im also interested in that rock fossil's release card if it's jims or not or they might have renamed it.

This set is great, also I wish that they also would have showed us the Secret rares but O well. Can't wait for this set. P.S. Also so is there New Crystal beast that are dark types.

surprsing how they only have 6 cards that deal with the evil heroes but there is alot of gladial beast and cloudians in this set overall which is also good

When the "Swift Armor" card for the six samurai was first named as *Godspeed Armor", it's effects really rocked, but now it kinda sucks. For those who don't know, it used to be like, "special summon two six samurai monsters from your graveyard. If one inflicts damage, you take damage equal to that". That would've been okay, nothing bad about it. Now it's "special summon two six samurai monsters from your graveyard. They are destroyed at the end of this turn and you take damage equal to their combined atk". I mean, the least they could say was "equal to half their combined atk". I mean, it's still a useful card, but it's effect kinda sucks. Anyways, set looks great for the most part, wish we could've seen more destiny heroes, now that more have been in the show....but o well. Thanks manjyome

does anyone know if you can decrease a Cloud's ATK with Rainstorm even if it didnt have the ATK power? like, decrease Altos by 2000 points?

Well, i guess thats true, but I had cut him out of my Cloud deck believing him to be a waste of space, but you can see it at the forum, oh well

Rainstorm and Reverse Trap? I mean since the Rain Storm attack decrease effect would be permanent you would keep gaining attack points while destroying stuff. Would that be a plausible combo in your opinion? I've been thinking this one through since I saw episode 111-112

is that the final effect? no matter if you attack more than once it will have half attack?that is terrible, also if you dont have a monster equipped you cant activate his multi attack power, but can you act on his half attack power and his piercing power also?

I hope venoms will be in the next pack. The new roids are great. they will totaly help. I don't think they will make more Evil heroes, but they might.

WTF!! The advanced chrystial are the same as the normal ones! The only real difference is look, and support. There is no real point in making them. They should just finish the D-Heros, come on!

This will be the beginning of what i consider the "Broken card" series. the Gladiel Beasts, Evil Heroes, and Cloudians are so superb to the current cards... and its only getting worse.

If anyone's checked the monarch deck, could be a problem unless the next booster has some good counter cards or the new cards in that deck have some big setbacks, could be the shaman of yugioh.

a kool venom card would be like a captain gold for venom swamp x sept itd have 1800 so it could survive on the feild without it besides theres still more snake names 2 b used like venom python or constrictor
