Hold on. So you can only use dragons in your grave for cyber dark dragons effect? If so thats to bad it would have bin a great side deck card for machine duelists.

Best booster since Cybernetic Revolution?

Hmm.. that looks really cool.. is this the best booster since Cybernetic Revolution? Or will it even be the best booster since Invasion of Chaos?! (No way it beats Invasion of Chaos :P)

Masked Dragon, Troop Dragon and Twin-Headed Behemoth will be used much more now ^^

An Example

The Example is my try to descrie how such a chain situation is built up ^^" :

- You activate a Call of the Haunted (Chain Link 1)
- Your opponent chains Royal Decree (Chain Link 2)
- You are chaining [CDIP-JP045 Gust of Wind] to destroy their Royal Decree (Chain Link 3)
- You are chaining [CDIP-JP044 Miracle Reborn], since it is the 4th Chain link, to revive a second monster from your grave (Chain Link 4)

Then the chain is resolved from behind to ahead (CL4->CL3->CL2->CL1)

Even though I understand the whole chain thing, it's a really stupid idea for a card. This all shows thay they're running out of ideas already. So I say that just stick to one deck and increase its power. This will not only save you lots of money, but it'll also make that deck even stronger.

i just dont understand why they would weaken cards like them, they had the Potential 2 be great, but there not many good level 3 or lower dragons. but the fusion of them is perfect, Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon can be put to good uses. what to people think of these chain cards, i dont know what to make of them.
P.S dose anyone know what the promo card is for the power of the duelist sneak preview.

well 1 thing when all 3 cyber dark monster are in you grave play over load fusion also works on cyber dark armed dragon but i mayby possible that it not have to be dragons i mean is it 100% about the effect of the cyber dark monster and by the way future fusion works also on cyber dark monster so there are many option without dragons

i have seen yugioh gx episode 95 and i have seen cyber dark armed dragon using cyber end dragon as power up insted of a dragon monster
so i think its not 100% about the effect of the cyber dark monsters

If you saw it, then you probably simply overlook it.
Hell Kaiser Ryo activates a trap card, right before fusion summoning Cyber Dark Dragon with Instant Fusion, that changes every monster's Subtype in both players graveyard to a designated subtype, in Ryo's case he chose dragons. That's it, how he was able to equip Cyber Dark Dragon.

I think most every card in this set sucks and wont be used very much at all, the cards make you waste all your card advantage and over-extend to the field far too much. I think the most interesting card here is trapwire, it makes it actually matter where you set your cards... The chain cards are a waste cuz it makes it so you or your opponent have to have alot of cards on the field, which wont turn out well if you ask me... Oh well, enough ranting... Power of the duelist will be MUCH better, probably the best since Invasion of Chaos, but still not quite as good as IOC... close though.

this set has some great potential to the meta as a whole.new decktypes like chain link and cobination decks like dragon w/ machine will occur,so yay. another 2 level decks will be brought as well.and anti meta or chaos will definately have more power.
possibly just atttribute decks likw water will see competitive play.and theres another warrior beatstick there so thats good too.
and most of the chain cards are awesome.

Cyber Shadow Guardna

Cyber Shadow Guardna, it looks amazing, and it sound amazing. but can someone tell me how it work, cos from what i can make out it seem all most unstopable (once it been activted that is, cos wouldn't it just come back?) I really like the look of a lot of cards in this set, the art work seem to be darker. plus it's nice to see mixer of different cards for a change, it's not like the past few set that had a theme, it's like the the good old classic bosters, i hope furter set are like this.

CANNON SOLDIER!!!

wacko, if I attacked cyber shadow guardna with a spirit reaper, it wouldn't be so impossible now would it lol. By the way, Did anyone lese realize that cannon soldier was on the picture of many cards, or atleast 2, I thought there were more though, and in fact now that I think about cannon soldier is on the picture of many cards in the game, oh well, as dumb as this sounds I'm kinda shamed there were no d-heores in this set, but it really wasn't meant for that plus they have enough combo potential already, it's very powerful. Anyways for all of those people who say GX cards are dumb and suck, take a look at POTD set with may GX cards, compared to this set with very few GX cards. In my opinion POTD is much better by a long run. And besides for this set, the most powerful cards are probably the Cyber Dark Machines, and I know the chaining cards might be good. There too confusing and strange for me to run, but I could see it making it pretty high in some tournaments. Well, that's my impression on the set, and for all of you GX haters out there, GX cards aren't neccesarrily bad whether you like them or not. And if you think otherwise I'll kill you my D-heroes. ( And if I offended anyone in any way I'm sorry, just simply stating my opinion...) Thx, and more impressions are appreciated.

actually the Cyber Shadow Guardna is not impossible to defeat. You can use monster like Killer Tomato or Big Nemuzi to attack it and that will destroy Cyber Shadow Guardna and you get to special summon another monster from your deck.

insane deck types

i'll take that challenge on making a dragon/machine deck
i have so many excess carsds as it is and i dont have enough good machines or dragons in either deck

i've made some pretty wierd decks before, mostly combining dark world with every other theme to try to make 40 cards with what i had that would fit the theme. Some combinations were fun, and i look forward to using the whole "position on the field" effect.

Seriously guys... i was kinda bored about all those useless E-hero cards... here we have other elements added to the game, field position of cards and chains... lets take for instance Tripwire, it could be 1 card for two on my opponents side...

Ascending black horn is so playable imagine negating call, premature, chaos sorcerer, cyber dragon, fusions, metamorphosis, marauding, last will, deck shrinkers like (tomato, shining, etc) gravekeeper's cards, dark world etc etc.

Aded to that troy bomb is sweet, brain control, creature swap etc.

Cummulative happiness can also be included on a deck... (of course only good duelist would understand the chaining effects of this spoiler, no offense to any one just a little more study of the metagame) chain 1 summon and priority or activation of monster effect in main, chain 2 mystical, chain 3 gust of wind chain 4 cumulative hapiness... it like a pot of greed and all opponents field would be clean when it resolves completely. now if we add Chain healing to a it, that would be another card in your hand for next chain.

Instant fusion is way too playable, normal magic 500 LP is not much, brings a monster just for trib summons or a restrict to absorb and trib... or lv 5 to metamorphose.

PLUS ++ Flash of magic sealing with ojama trio playable or the boring sheep tokens

i like vanity devil, it's my bigger stronger version of Jowel, (just what i needed) i mean cyber dragon, treeborn, chaos sorcerer, LVs, call permature, scapegoat, fusions. though Jowel can destroy with priority.

Something else, the blast devil can be added to a burn deck... 500 more of damage for each chain... Cough cough, painful.

Flame ogre is really dirty... imagine tsukuyomi, flip I draw!!

What do you guys think now?? however... we must take into account that most duelist like cards that say how to play them... most decks nowadays are so predictable... flip draw a card, destroy the attaking monster etc etc... i think this spoiler is one of the best since IOC,

CDI for machine decks

In all honesty, i think cyber dark dragon( unless later proven other wise) is TOTALLY useless. ok, if its effect did ANY monster, than it would have been a must have for machine decks, but since its only for dragons, y waste time on it. I mean, i use a machine deck that revolves around chimerac tech and the otehr cyber dragons, and my base set is 40, and i play by tourney/advanced format( both jap and eng), and roughly nearly 20% of the time i have the right cards to 1. clear the enemy trap/magic zone,2. see what monster they have, take em out, and 3. summon chimera tech or my other legions of cybers and crush the enemy with 13000+ damage.(26000+ if i have limiter)hell, even cyber end dragon with the right cards can end the duel faster than CDD; compare that to cyberdark, that can rouglhy get as strong as 5 god or BU dragon, but then ud havta make a deck around both types.( costly if ud havta depend on cyberstein, via kill BU dragon then summon CDD) the new machine trap is aslo i think a liitle hyped up, cuz all u need to get rid of it is typhoon, and EVERYONE has typhoon.Not only that, its useless during the battle phase, so u can surprise attack the enemy with a call of the dead surprise attack. the cyber ogres are too summon needy in any deck, being lvl 5 and onlly 1900( ogre

ok, i will admit that the whole "chain" idea on these cards is kinda lame, but at least it's a brief respite from those e-heroes! sheesh... who ISN'T sick of them? at least these cards are cool looking, so it will be a good set for collectors anyway. besides, a few of these cards have potential... Storm Shooter will be heavensent for Harpie duelists, because there aren't many really strong winged beasts out there.a lot of people seem psyched about Cyber Ogre 2, and i plan on using the Allure Queens. i think if used correctly, they could dominate a duel. as for spells and traps, A Flash Of Magic Sealing, Straight Flush and Ascending Black Horn all seem good. so, all in all, i think if used creatively, the cards in this booster could be GREAT! good luck with them!!

this pack isnt bad

ok this pack is ok. it all depends what cards you are
after and how you use them. if anything be gald that
the E-heros arent in here. now they are hard to play
with. too many spells and traps to play just to keep
them alive long enough to play them. and some of these
cards are real sweet. now for myself im a machine duel-
list and i cant wait for this pack to come out. looking for
ward to the dino deck as well but im all about machines
and this pack has some really cool cards to help my deck
out even more. as for the cahins, well they can be used
the only problem is that it can be hard to play with. you
will find the stuff in here to play with. theres even a
card here to use for the blue eyes dragon. got to go.

Dark Horn of Heaven(Ascending Black Horn)

Dark Horn of Heaven cannot negate the special summon through Premature Burial, Call of the Haunted, Cyber Stein, or Hand of Nepthys because the special summon occurs during the resolving step of the card. Ascending Black Horn(Dark Horn of Heaven) sucks just like the rest of this set. Although I do kind of like Cyber Shadow Guardna, but that is it.

I wasted my weekend on this set. If it wasnt for the few pleasures of the day it would have been a total waste. The few things i liked about this set where; instant fusion, shadow gaurdna and combo master. The level monsters are a joke and the other monsters just wont cut it. All and all my Dark World is where ill stay.

uhmm manjyome... i really registerd 2 this just to ask you aome few questions ( i hope you would answer, i really adore your knowledge on yugioh sooo)... uhmm... when horus the black flame dragon level 8 is in ur grveyard and u fusion summon cyberdark dragon, then you choose horus the black flme dragon lv 8 so it is equipd to CDD... when my opponent activates heavy storm or snatch steal (or any possible spell card) can i use horus' effect, that is negating the effect of the spell card and destroy it?

- If Horus becomes an Equip Card (as it is the case when equipped to Cyberdark Dragon), it looses its effect. So it is not possible to negate an opponent's Spell Card with it while equipped.

- The effect of Hex-Sealed Fusion can only be activated during your Main Phases. So, neither your Battle Phase nor your opponent's turn are possible.
